I understand the SOG method works best with auto-feminized seeds and female clones. I understand why as well. However, I have to work with what I got. I have good seeds with good genetics, but they are normal seeds. I AM LOOKING TO MAXIMIZE YIELD IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME WITH WHAT I HAVE. This is my plan: 66 plants under two 600w MH/HPS Lights NO topping I want a quick turn over, preferably a maximum of 4 weeks in veg. Once I switch to flower I will be killing the males. My question: Will (theoretically) half the space lost, be necessarily a bad thing? Or will the space the males were in be beneficial as the females will have more room for them to breath and bush up? AND What, if any, sort of LST could combine well with a short veg time and SOG? Perhaps bending over the main stem to expose lower branches to light? Or will it be better to devote energy to the primary cola, and not LST? Can I LST in flower and would that even be beneficial?
I grow a min of 99 plants working on 50% will be males, you may increase to 130? if this comes a habit you need to learn to feminize ...lol keep in mind these are auto you will have little control over vegging I've used 6 inch square and round pots before about a foot tall good luck
