SOG/COIR/Pot SIZE

  1. Hi folks,
since I've been in the coir the world has been a better place. Thanks AskEd
for inspiring me to try it.

Here is my situation and my plan. For almost three years I've run a continuous grow. Usually 3 plants under 600 watts, two weeks apart. In the cooler months I add a 400 watter and one or two other plants.

Now I want to try to use the 400 watt light to give SOG a try. This also goes along with reading more about light coverage and usable light footprint.

So all that for this simple question. Should I put my mini clones in my usual 3 gal. grow bags?
    Should I use 2 gal?
Should I use more plants and 6x6x9 rigid rose pots?

If this works it's goodbye to the continuous grow under the 600 watt light, I think.............I'll miss the constant harvest..................but not the trim at the end.

    Thanks in advance.
Any and all thoughts welcome, I don't bruise easy, and have YOU tried a SOG?

  2. If you are just going to put clones immediately into bloom, I would use one gallon pots and squeeze as many in there as I could.

  3. last sog i done with coco was in 2ltr square pots in a 4 x 4 area it held 64 pots i found this way better than using 6.5 ltr squares with 36 pots yeild increased alot with the smaller pots and more plants
