soft or crunchy?

Crispy. Like my tacos.

 

this question also applies to tacos.

 

Bacon in oven is the only way pan burns it... I like it perfect!.

 

Soft, I don't like having it crunch like hard candy. Some crunch near the ends is all good though

I don't even remember how I got here... but anyway...

I like it in between crunchy and soft too but I only eat it about 2-4 times a year.

On topic, I like my bacon at that stage where, it's not wiggly, it's not crispy, but instead it's almost jerky... smokey, salty,
not burned, and just a little bit chewy.

I also make true bacon hash jerky, starting with pre-cooked, under-done bacon (to sterilize the meat and remove
most of the fat drippings), before the flavoring and jerky process.



Off topic and in reference to the above posters, just last week I made some hashy tacos, and used some left-over bacon
grease from burgers the night before, combined with the hamburger fat from the taco meat, to fry up my soft-shell
'tortillys' (ie. tortillas). YUM!

 

When it comes to baccon the more crispy the better
