    If a simple plant like marijuana is considered illegal and dangerous, and the government spends billions of dollars a year to fight it, I highly doubt the secession of 1/2 of California will fly..

    I read that article. It's some politician's way of getting airtime. It's been pitched before, problem is, it is not allowed in the us constitution.
