Soapstone Bong

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by CasinoCloudz, Aug 13, 2008.

  1. I have about $480 dollars to kill and im thinking of buying a custom made 1 foot bong with diffuser.

Soapstone does not heat up nearly as quick as glass and can hit just as hard

The guy wants to charge $150 for the labor and materials.

    Is it worth it?

  2. Get one made out of glass. You're not going to have any problem with a bong getting hot anyway.

I guess I don't know a ton about the price/workability of soapstone, but this just doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Get something made of glass.

  3. Go with glass. With that kind of money, you can get something you know you want.

  4. No way man, buy yourself an EHLEMINATOR, and some weed. You know you want to.

  5. Go to your local headshop. For $150, you can get a good 2' bong. For $160 you can get a great vape (www.dabuddhavaporizer.com). For $200 you can get a 5 mm thick, 2' bong with a diffuser and an ashcatcher... So you can get a whole lot for $480.

Indeed, last week I bought a 26" PURE Glass ice bong with two three-tree percs (all trees diffused) plus a diffused downstem, an ashcatcher, a case for the catcher, a case for the bong, and some shisha that I needed for my hookah. I got a free t-shirt, too, and I spent... (drumroll please) $480.

  6. I don't really know anything about soapstone, but if you think this is going to be a quality bong, I say go for it. It could be a really cool and unique piece. If you get it, post some pictures.
