So, what's the deal with fluoride???

  1. Its not the easiest information to find, as Its in the form of old scientific studies.. most of which were pre 1937.

Here is an interesting time line, and at the bottom a list of sources.

Fluoride: A Chronology of Fluoridation By Val Valerian

    Just a snippet :

1939 Volume 9 Report to the House Un-American Activities Committee delves deeply into the alleged use of fluoridation to keep the American people docile, so they would accept the changing of their system of government to a socialist state.

1940 "Fluoride inhibits neuromuscular activity". Ref: Russo, G. Att.Acad. Sci. Nat.., 1940.

1940 Soviet concentration camps maintained by fluoride administration to inmates to decrease resistance to authority and induce physical deteriorization.

1942 "Fluorine may cause anoxia in the newborn and shorten the period of their survival" Ref: Himwich, H.E., et al., American Journal of Physiology, 1942.

1942 Germany becomes worlds largest producer of aluminum (and Sodium Fluoride). Fluoride is used in the concentration camps to render the prisoners docile and inhibit the questioning of authority.

1943 Researchers from the US Public Health Service examine the health of residents of Bartlett, Texas to see if the 8ppm fluoride in the drinking water was affecting their health. It was checked again in 1953. They find that the death rate in Bartlett was three times higher than a neighboring town which contained 0.4 ppm fluoride.

1943 A special New York State Health Department Committee is appointed to study the advisability of adding fluoride to Newburg's drinking water, chaired by Dr. Hodge, then chief of fluoride toxicity studies for the Manhattan Project.

  2. If there's any truth to that then the conspiracy theories are only strengthened.

Have any of you ever heard of Operation Paperclip?

The OSS is now known as the CIA.

  3. Until I get home, I'll leave you with this:
    Why Fluoridation Is Important

    Sound familiar?

  4. Heard of it yes, haven't done much research into it.

  5. Fluoride is used to render the prisoners docile and inhibit the questioning of authority.

    ^^^

Seems to be working perfectly !

    :D

Ive drunken well water my whole life, Never ingested much Fluoride to speak of, So Im able to question authority.

  6. PS: Everything is a conspiracy , until the government admits it...

How about you summarize what you think sounds familiar? Are you referring to the rat poison remark or the Nazi Germany remark? If so, you are again focusing on one small aspect of this. And the fact is fluoride is in rat poison, a fun fact for people to know. Or was it the part of that article you posted that claimed fluoride causes cancer? If so, you should re-read this part,

Now no where does it say it causes the cancer but it does help the cancer. Hence why those with cancer should avoid ingesting fluoride. Or is that information no good to you because its "outdated"? The sources are there.

Why don't you just wait till you are off your phone for a proper debate.

Btw, that article you posted isn't at all biased or anything . Quackwatch huh? Tell that to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

  8. Something kind of funny..

Do a yahoo or Google search on :

    Fluoride studies..

Spend a few mins looking through them, and who did the studies.

Out of the first 5 pages , 3 .gov studies, and about 50 non government studies.

All 3 of the .gov studies said Fluoride is PERFECTLY SAFE, dont worry folks, nothing to see here, keep drinking it.

the other 50 studies said Fluoride is bad, in all kinds of different ways...

    HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  9. A flouride soak, at the dentist is ok, and may in fact prevent some decay.

Flouride consumed orally will do nothing to strengthen tooth enamel. Not enough contact time. It is a waste, a pollutant, and hugely unnecessary.

They want to put lithium in the drinking water next, for apparently, the flouride isn't keeping us stupid enough.

  10. ^^

    yup..

fluoride in toothpaste is good too.. but you shouldn't consume it (as the label warns)..

but drinking it in the water? lol.. maybe if you hold it in your mouth and swish it around.. sure.

i grew up with and still have well water..
i think my teeth are ok..

i do think it's pretty sweet of the gov't to care so much about the countries oral hygiene.. that's pretty cool of them.,

    All u need to kno

  12. You guys realize that fluoride is naturally occurring, right? In water. That includes well water.

  13. there's no fluoride in my well water.

so naturally occurring = good for you?

the point is, it's being added to the water to enhance our dental hygiene, correct?

i'm not saying it's a secret conspiracy to make everyone stupid..

i'm just saying that adding it to water does nothing for your teeth, and some say that consuming it isn't healthy.

  14. e coli is naturally occurring in some well water too..
which is why some folks have fancy filters, chlorine and UV systems.

  15. Naturally occurring doesn't equal "good".

My point was that it's a fallacy to say you don't ingest fluoride because you drink well water.

  16. Old guys insecure about thier lil weenys,Trying to make a society of dumbassess
Putting flouride in almost everything,I've given up on the subject,I made a thread about this "How to De-calcify your pineal gland"..................................yeah flouride sucks. EOS

  17. Then you admitted it, Fluoride is not good for you.

    Case is closed.

  18. I also read somewhere floride can harden ur pineal gland

  19.

It depends entire on the dose. Many naturally occurring nutrients are beneficial in low doses but harmful in high doses. Which is one way in which the data on fluoride is misrepresented.

The fluoride used in water supplies does not come from natural resources but are a by product (waste), manmade by product. We're talking about the crap in the Gov't puts in the water supply.

    Fluoride - Toxipedia
    Hexafluorosilicic acid (H 2 SiF 6)

    Sodium fluoride (NaF)

Yum! Thank god my counties water supplier doesn't put that shit in my water. Can't say that for the other 60% + of the nation. Thank you Suffolk Water Authority!
