  2. You know I saw that on HTG yesterday as well.  In theory I guess it makes sense. The sun is a giant plasma ball.  But sometimes what makes sense on paper doesn't translate 100% to the field, in fact rarely does it ever.  Only time will tell.  Consider how revolutionary LED's were supposed to take over the growing sense, because on paper sure it makes perfect sense...Fine tune the spectrum to exactly what chlorophyll A & B absorb.  Yet there is still a ton of debate.  Personally I'll stick to my T'5 for seedling/clone/veg and my HPS for flower.  Einstein said "Things should be as simple as possible, but not one bit simpler".  But yeah I'd like to see test grows done... lots of them :)

  3. Yea, the sun is a ball of plasma what my thought was too... Your right with leds, it was suppose to take the industry over and look at where it is now, shit is fucking expensive, and is questionable. The light spectrum chart looks interesting, tho I dont really understand what im looking at.... It has alot of blue and red spectrum which is for veg / flower, unlike bulbs which is one or the other spectrum, I also wonder what the penetration on this baby is - being only 300 watts, but plasma 'sun bright' I wonder what kind of capability this thing has lol, sure is god damn expensive thats for sure.
