So pretty much think my whole harvest was ruined in 12 hours

  1. I think it was heat? Temp got to like 115. You think these will still finish flowering?[IMG][IMG]

  2. Whether or not they can be saved doesn't matter. You should do everything in your power to try to save them. I have seen plants come back from pretty bad states. Water them, get your temps right, and you may be surprised. Don't give up on them! The one on the right definitely looks like it can bounce back. But if you don't spend the time now to get your temps in order and just give up, you will face this same problem every summer. Good luck! I'm rooting for you!

  3. Any ideas to help with temp? It's in my garage it's ventilated but not very well and I really don't want to add another a/c my PGE bill is already fucked.

  4. What size light are you using? and what are the temps outside where you live? a vented hood is an option if you're not already using one. Basically, if the air coming in to your garden (from your home or outside, wherever the intake is) is already too hot, you'll need more a/c. If the air coming is to your garden is comfortable (around 70 or so), more ventilation to move the hot air out (and cool air in) might be all you need. huge hps lights are always going to cause heat, so if you are running a big light in an area with hot summers, I think you'll have no choice but to get a vented reflector.

Edit: when I say intake, I'm talking passive. I don't use active intake and haven't seen too many grows where it is necessary.

  5. You could build an evaporative cooler. You need a fan running anyway for stronger plants.

  6. It's 400w in a 5x4x6 tent in my garage. The hood I got from a friend he took the glass off so I can't vent the hood itself. But I have a fan blowing air from the garage into the tent and a fan with a carbon filter blowing air from the tent outside. Temps in my garage are like 90-100 maybe more during the heat waves. Should I just get a LED light?

  7. If the natural temps in your garage reach 100, You will porbably have to invest in an a/c. that means even with perfect airflow and 0 heat coming from your light, it is still too hot for cannabis plants. Once you factor in a light, you've basically created an oven. You either have to choose your time of year to grow or bring that temperature down. Even my outdoor plants don't like 100 degrees, and they are a lot less sensitive than indoor plants.
