Well, I'll make this short and sweet. I've really enjoyed posting on these forums. I've learned a hell of alot and i hope I've contributed in a positive way. A while back, when several other members were in the process of retiring from the forums, I realized I have learned pretty much everything this forum has to offer me. Anyways, long story short, I think I've personally contributed all I can back into the community. I don't think I'll be posting any longer. So, thankyou for all the memories and knowledge. Grasscity will always have a special place in my heart. I'll be back to check new products and maybe every now and then to browse the forums. I'll also keep the chat in my favorites for a bit longer. Well it's not a 100% thing. There are a variety of reasons. What it boils down to, is that I don't think the GC community is something I'm really eager to be a part of anymore. and vice versa. Maybe things will change, maybe they won't.
They'll change. People need "forum breaks" just like tolerance breaks. No biggie, really. Its still a great place to be and talk with other stoners. But, I respect your decision Rasta. Be sure to keep checking back.

I can definately see where you are coming from, even though I havent been a member that long in the scheme of things, I did read for a long time before that. And I think there was a definate heyday in the forums that has passed. There were a lot of great members that were banned, left, etc that really brought the forums down a notch. I dont want to start a new controversy, because people faught a lot over this when it happened, but I feel like the forums went from being a place to make informative and inquisitive posts and threads, mixed in with friendly stories and chat, to a place dominated by just whats going on with someones urine test or how high you got off some killer pick up. However, that does not mean that people need to leave. You cant look at the past and dwell and remenisce(sp?). (Believe me I know that damn well.) You have to look to making the future brighter and better for the city by contributing in a positive manner. I hope you reconsider, and stay as a driving force in bringing the city back (in my mind) to a place that it should be. Best of luck to you Rasta Man, we may not have agreed on that much, but you were a definate positive force on the boards and you will really be missed. I honestly think that this will be a big blow to the forums, you really contibuted a lot, and were a member that held the true Grasscity values in your mind when you contributed here. I hated reading that. We've knocked heads alot IMO. Ive felt attacked by you many times. Jus because our views are diffetent and i feel you dont approve of my lifestyle. But deep down i got a love for you. Nobody could replace ya. Your one of a kind. You've contributed so much to this forum. And i wish it continues.
