So I was...

  1. looking around for fan alternatives. For me, right now a Squirrel cage fan or a centrifugal fan is too expensive.

I found this alternative which I think may work just fine.

It's at half the cost, plus it'll take up less room. Though the 12" 600cfm one is what I'd perfer, I'd assume putting two or three of the 6" 185 CFM fans will do just fine for me. Or if nessicery a couple of the 8" 300cfm fans. Then all I'd have to do is have a small 8" portion, with two 6" adapters. As it is, if I actually build the grow box I'm only going to have 90 cubic feet that I need to exhaust.

I'd like opinions on whether it would be efficient enough.

I also found this, I don't plan to use it, but it may be of use to to someone else.

  2. HIGH All, they work ok for me...I have a 4" for intake and a 6" for exhaust.

  3. Well I plan on running with just negative air pressure. So any intake fan won't be running most of the time.
