So, today was a normal day, just like any other....and then i went and smoked a bowl with my friend...which lead to going to a grad party high which was fun. The people there were into coke and were talking bout throwing down and i was intrigued. Well, me and my buddy were going to get a little. He wanted 2 grams, i'd only take a couple lines. Anyways, time went by and we left the party and met up with the people from the party after they got outta there and picked up. So, it went down just like i'd have wanted it to. We were in a real chill group and we all got around a coffee table, got some cd cases, and busted open the bags. My bud was real bad at breaking the rocks so i did it lol he took the first line. I waited a while for mine. Before this the only thing i'd snorted was creatine for a dare, and it fucking hurt, so i had to work myself up for this. So i got the straw and made my line and snorted that shit. At first i hated the taste, but it kinda grows on you. I smoked a bowl after my line and just got really happy. I ended up doing about 5 or so lines, which came out to about half a gram, but i was fucking wired and full of energy. Honestly, the high lasted a long time and i didn't fiend, but i think i had the right attitude going into it which was "enjoy the ride" and i did. Maybe i'll do it again in a few months. Not a big thing, but none of my friends besides the one with me will ever know about it....kinda sucks. Overall, it was an amazing thing to try. For 25 bucks, why not? It was a fun and entertainging night.
coke is kind of ambiguous to me and that's why I won't do it. The potential for addiction has seemed, according to various accounts I've read, to be about 50/50. Half of the people who've tried it seem to get addicted, the others simply enjoy it. Personally I know I have an addictive personality, so I doubt I'll allow myself to try coke and I won't touch heroin, meth, or other addictive drugs. I'll stick to weed and psychadelics. I've already become addicted to tobacco and for a long while I was an alcoholic, so I don't want to compound my problems with that sort of stuff. That being said, IF I were to do a hard addictive drug, it'd be coke simply because it seems like that's the most fun. The problem I have with it (and heroin, and speed) is that it's just that: it's fun, but nothing is gained from it spiritually. That's what I like about cannabis and what I like about the possibilities of LSD and shrooms and the like: they offer up something more than just fun, which is what life should be about imo: more than just fun. Alot more. Glad you enjoyed your first trip on coke though. Five to six lines sounds like alot for a first time, but hey, at least you didn't come down too fast.
for me,the comedown isnt really bad,its just anoyin.its all in the mind.if your mind is strong enough,and you have the right attitude while using it,and just try to stay chill,then the comeodwn is weak,also if you dont do it quick,i space my shit out really good ive been told,but nonetheless the comedown will always be there,even if it is weak,its still anoying.its a tricky drug.pills and bud help too
My last incident with coke was pretty good. I had the same metality going into it that you did, which I beleive seperates a lot of the highs. It is something I'll only do ( After my probation period ends ) ever so often, say 6 months or more apart and even when I do it, a few lines is all. -Arsenic Inc.
See that's the thing with drugs, people tend to like them too much. Pot dope speed meth caffeine what have you. 50/50 for all of them give or take but my point is lots of people get addicted to ALL of them. You don't think there are addicted stoners out there. Also I disagree coke IS spiritual for me. really. It's absolutely mind blowing.
And remember I started smoking the sweet leaf, cuz it was fun. didn't everyone. First time was after school for something different to do you know how it is. Coke was the same. edit: you get out of it only what you want to get out of it.
I just did coke for the first time tonight, infact Im on it right now... Its decent but I think weeds a much better use of money, the coke body buzz is alright, but Id rather have oxycontin. (oxy lasts way longer and feels alot better) Its fun because its new, and makes music sound a lil different which is what I origionally loved about weed but im so used to it that its just like being sober now. Ill probally do it from time to time but atleast for the moment I feel no need to find more. I like to feel good and relaxed, over feeling good and energetic.
Coke was wonderful at first to me. I don't have an addicting personality really, but I did coke ALOT. Soon I did it more than weed, and everytime I did it, I would always end up doing insane shit (robbing people, places, fighting) so I decided to quit it, it was a fun 7 months of my life but the shit just fucced with me too much.
I used to be an alcoholic and im afraid of addictive substances due to my addictive personality. I'm glad you enjoyed your first time with blow.
