Just get them in the soil/medium,and wait. They will live,or they wont. I take my seeds, and put them in a cup of plain black tea,and so far I've had 100% success. Make the tea cool it off then drop the seeds in.Then put cup into the frig "this is winter". After 24 hours or so removed cup,and carefuly rinse seeds with plain water. Then drop them,in medium, and lightly cover."This is spring". The tea kills and bacteria on the outside of the seeds. The tannins in the tea also soften the husk, but the seed doesnt open yet so you wont get brown tips or kill the seedling by touching the root. GL
