So Fucking pissed, and I miss my kitty!

  1. For a little bit of backstory on this, my roommate, for the sake of relative synonymic I'll call him R, has been what I would call a shitty roommate ever since he moved in about six months ago. This dude will fucking leave his dirty dishes all over the house (usually with food left in it) and never cleans up after himself, this kid hasn't touched the dishes the whole time he's lived here. R also has a nasty habit of slamming doors, a habit that I really hate and it actually does little to close the doors since I live in an older house and the doors have to be closed relatively delicately for them to actually latch close; as well as the whole disruptive quality of a door being slammed every time they move to another room or leave the house (this was actually one of by biggest pet peeves about the last roommate I had), which I really hate, I like to keep a chill house.

So about 45 minutes ago, R comes home, and naturally slams the door. In this instance he goes directly to his room and doesn't notice the door doesn't close. I come home about 10 minutes after this, and one of my other roommates cats (this one's a really cool guy, we've been friends since grade school) is on the back steps, and my cat, Charlie, is totally gone. It's dark and raining outside and we couldn't find him anywhere. I left some food by the back door, but I'm really upset that my cat is gone, and it's all my roommates fault, and there was nothing I could have done about it.

He was a little fucker, but he was my little fucker.

I already miss him tons, I really hope he can find his way back.

  2. Im sure he will come back man. I have two inside cats plus the 5 strays I feed, I really hope the strays are ok, I made them a little tent out side my door, but I havent seen them since this storm started.

dammnn man that really sucks. your roommate should be outside lookin for him, what a douche.

i never really was much of a cat person, still not, but since i tripped and my cat chilled with me its changed a bit. i remember ya talkin about your cat being pretty chill i think?

i gave my cat a bunch of catnip earlier, hes been rolling around in it for like 2 hours now

  4. i feel for ya man. It always sucks to lose a good friend

  5. ahhhh, that sucks man,i know i was sad when i come home and my cat was gone. the little key keys

  6. Okay, this is grounds to kick his ass.

Let me know if he comes back!!!!!! :(

  7. Charlie has been recovered :hello: . My girlfriend and I were staying up to see if we were going to hear him at all; we ended up hearing him under the house just a few minutes ago, and grabbed him up. It's been such a long day; but I think R might have to be looking for a new living situation soon, he was such a dick today.

    Finally able to relax. :smoking:

Thanks for everyone's support, it definitely helped me calm down, I was super upset when I was typing that up.

  8. i love cats.

  9. Thought R had hit the cat in the doorway or something while reading this the first time. Glad your cat is okay.

  10. Awesome that you were able to find your cat man!

And yeah, sounds like you need to do something about R. I lived with a roommate once, and decided after him that I would never have a roommate again. I'm just too anal about cleanliness to let anybody else live with me lmao

  11. cats have an amazing sense of where they live, and my cats go across the street around the neighborhood, everywhere, and still make it back.

  12. I'm sorry my friend i hope your kitty returns.

But you should seriously do some horrid prank to stop him from slamming doors.

EDIT: you found him yay!! Now prank that asshat lol

  13. Awesome that you found your kitty. As far as your roomie goes, kick that stupid fucker out of your house, seriously. No need for the disrespect.
