I am close to harvest on 5 medical plants. Each baring easily over a QP. One of them in particular is VERRRY smelly I can smell it outside and when I pull it out the whole house smells like it. I live in my house and when ever people come over they say, "damn, your house smells like really strong weed." and the grow room door is shut and sealed. Now my roommates tell me that they can smell weed all the way down the block, and just the other day I was trimming in the upstairs and these guys walked by the house and one guy says, "Hey do you smell that?" "No, shit I smell it dude I could smell that shit down the street they got bud in there for sure." I think they have about 1 week to go and aparently I smell up my classes when I show up because my clothes soak in the smell of growing buds however I am so used to it I can never smell it. Is it getting too stinky?

No filters brah fuck it, but really I think I am just to used to the smell. I smell it sometimes outside and im not sure how it does that. Its like the smell seeps through the house or some shit. Its crazy.
There's not many houses that are actually sealed from any outside air. Theres all kinds of air movement in and out of your house. Not that crazy. What's crazy is you blatantly hearing strangers outside your place commenting on the existence of weed inside your house. And you still having the mentality of "fuck it brah". ....that's insane your entire street can smell your garden. 5 fully flowering plants with over a lb of ripe growing cannabis is going to smell so damn much if you don't have odor control. you're asking for trouble if you don't run some filters. Seriously you've got to be running proper exhaust and ventilation if you are getting good results with HID lighting, just buy a filter for 100 dollars and not worry about it. I learned with my first grow on 2 plants, got an ounce from each plant. Not a very impressive grow. I smelled it from outside walking past my house. I got a filter ASAP now it doesn't smell until the tent is opened. double edit: also if you're doing some proper trimming you should change your clothes and shower before you go out because you will reek and you won't notice it.
well the people at the shop said I didnt need one so I just blew all my extra money on a hood. I use a sploof sometimes when its really bad. No windows or doors can be open or its actually fucked. Its just crazy to me that from the basement the stuff will seep up to the road.
Good fucking shit. GO BUY A DAMN CARBON FILTER. You are literally inviting robbery. You can get away without a carbon filter when your off grid and away from people. NOT when you can hear people walking by talking about YOUR HOUSE smelling like weed. Your right though, you do get slightly immune to the smell. which means everyone else is smelling it about ten times worse. Legal/medical or not discretion is key.

Lol right before class I trimmed up some of my buds and when I got to class my fingers were covered in hash and I could smell it. I fucked up but no one said anything.

I have already harvested 4 times no issues but this one I got a new hood and that has almost doubled my yield. I think I will be able to make it 1 week. Im about to chop some up.
You're going to get busted. And tbh as harsh as this May sound, it may teach you a lesson. The two major rules are Tell no cunt about you're grow And mask the smell. I spend serious money on my kit and filter system. Reason being I don't want to get caught and lose my equipment. The whole street can smell your grow, and btw it will get 20 times worse when you do crop. Me I'd be running about trying to fix this major problem, before coming on here stating the obvious Seriously dude you need to address this problem NOW!
I chopped down half the grow last night since some nugs were for sure ready to go. Hopefully half the plants will smell less my neighbors next door knew I was cropping because of the smell last night but they are the homies and come by to smoke all the time so its chillin. I wish my camera worked. I got some fire lookin nuggets. Im stoked.
