snorting keif?

i did it as a joke before, im pretty sure it doesn't work.

 

snorting kief does not work.
A - got a friend to do it, funny as hell to us but didn't get him high, wasted his kief lol.
B - Kief is a big pile of THC crystals off the plant, it is inactive in this state and without heat being applied (which would turn it into goo) it would have the same effect as snorting pollen.

 

I thought I read somewhere on here that someone said if your keif was old enough you could snort it and itd be more of a pain than the small high was worth.. not sure how true this is but I think I remember reading it on this site.. maybe im too high.

 

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you need heat (hotter than your body temp) to release the THC, otherwise you won't absorb any of it and the keif will be wasted.

 

You have to also remember kief is not water soluble.so it wont break down in your sinus cavity like other snorted substances.

 

why would you want to put anything in your nose anyways.

 

that is made up, i dont know WHO tells people it hasto be heated... but its bullshit. You just don't absorb enough, and it is a terrable waste of your kief.

I snorted a big line of some headies keif once, I was already really drunk and baked. I don't know if it did anything, but it was really funny.

in order to be activated the thc must be heated to atleast 75 degrees celsius. ive read that on these forums multiple times

 

167 degrees.. Sounds about right.... That's why vapes>smoking, as lighter flames reach about 700-800 degrees, whereas vaporizer temps can be controlled. Anything higher than about 200 degrees, and you're burning THC and releasing othe chemicals like cannibinol, which is responsible for couch lock. I believe.

 

why would you waste kief? just load a bowl and sprinkle it on top

 

Get it at least 350 degrees before snorting it and it will work. You can acomplish this by putting an eighth of kif in the oven and snort all of right when it gets out. Thats the only way.




btw this is a joke, snorting kif is a waste (yes, sadly, first hand knowledge)

 

If you snort it half way up and then light under your nose and snort the rest in you'll totally get second or third degree burns, and fucking high.
