Snapped stem in micro PC grow, looking for some advice.

  1. Hi all,
I just set up my very first pc grow box for $150 :D

    I'm running the following:

4x 23W daylight CFLs on an 18/6 cycle.
    Temp = 72-80F. Humidity = 23-26%
I have a 2 week old clone i got this morning, about 5-6 in. tall, which I tried to LST.
The main stem has snapped about 2-3 in. up, about 1/2 way through.
You can see it in pic, it's almost central, about an inch to the left.

I also noticed some white buildup on the leaves (see pics below)

What I know about the clone.

It's been fed a few times with 1/2 strength veg food (jungle green 17-13-17) and water in between each veg food.
She was watered 2 days ago, so after the transfer I gave her 2 cups of water, which she took to quite well and perked up right away. I've also left her at a 90 degree angle at the break as I am trying to scrog.

She was also treated once with Safers Defender fungicide.

I've maintained the same light cycle as the original owner

I put about 1/2 inch thick layer of worm castings on top of the soil which is an unknown mix with perlite (from prev. owner)

pH test and NPK test in pics also. They all look slightly high? :smoking:
pH looks to be about 7.5-8.0..

    What I want to know

    A) Is the white stuff mould? If so what is the best way to treat it?
    B) are my NPK/ph levels OK? I'm getting a digital ph tester, find these hard to test accurately.
    C) I bought some liquid seaweed, I was wondering if I should mist my plant with it during the dark hours?
    D) Is my low humidity right now going to hinder growth?

    Any other thoughts/comments/questions are appreciated!

  3. This is the setup:
    intake lower left 120mm
    Exhaust top right 120mm
Plant is raised about 2 inches to be closer to the light.
I also have a SCroG I intend to put in if she heals up.

  4. Here's my pH and NPK test results: like I said, they all look pretty dark IMO.
    Anything I need to do?

  6. Update

I ended up removing the top half, the stem had turned almost completely purple over night and a number of the leaves where dried right out.

All I have left is I think 2 or 3 branches below the break ( pic later) which look healthy still

I will have a pic up later on to see if you guys notice any more signs of degradation/have any suggestions

  7. Could have taped it and it would have healed in due time.

It would result in more undergrowth but so would just taking it off so idk.
