Smoking with Concussion

    Ok so I'm a daily smoker, I got a concussion yesterday in my hockey game. I don't remember it I blacked out, I guess I went flying in the air and landed on my head, I'd say it's a medium leveled concussion( a stage 2) anyways I have a concussion and was wondering if it's bad to smoke weed with a concussion? Or should I just wait till it's healed? Thanks :)

    probly should take a break just to be safe. My roommate had a bunch of concussions when he was younger and his doctor told him not to smoke that much because of that.

    Just take it easier than normal, if you feel any negative effects... Then stop!!

    Coincidentally, the first time i ever got high was about two weeks after i got a concussion in football, and i remember it feeling exactly like my concussion. Same symptoms precisely: fogginess, repeated hits of memory loss coming in waves, disorientation, etc. I've never forgotten that, it was like the first time i ever got high was during a football game.

Then in the next few minutes I realized that I was I probation and I couldn't be high and that I had a concussion, a depressing realization to say the least.     bro, i love snowboarding, man! ive always wanted to get high before boarding but ive never tried it.  have you? if so, do you mind if i ask how it was? i dont get to board nearly as often as i would like, living in Texas, but i used to live in Wisconsin and snow is one of the biggest things i miss about the north.

    I can still feel the spot on my head where i took a big hit when I smoke it starts to feel like its throbbing there...

    Haha that's ironic I was thinking the same thing, I feel like I'm high to some extent with this concussion without being high Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum

    I don't know about smoking right after a concussion, but I use cannabis because of its ability to help calm numerous issues that stem from excessive concussions

    Well if there is any correlation, it has been proven that if you can give a stroke victim thc shortly after a stroke, its possible to reverse some of the damage done. So I guess its possible that it could help if there's any relation between the two
