Smoking with a head injury

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by kushmane6, Nov 23, 2012.

  1. So I was smoking the other day and only took 3 hits of some good medical bud. I broke my nose after getting in a fight 2 months agoand have smoked since breaking my nose, but damn I swear I felt liked face was litteraly melting off. The high was relieving the inflammation in my sinuses and it all the pressure in my eyes, my eyes felt like they were going to collapse on themselves! And it felt like my optic nerve and vestibular system was straight up tripping lol.

There's a lot of nerves and stuff in your head is the sensation I felt normal after head trauma? I only broke the small nasal bones 1-2mm and it was two months ago so I figured most o the healing would be completed. I also had a concussion to so that might have to do with it. My tongue was also tensing and cramping up and I thought the feeling would travel down to my trachea and suffocate me lol.

Anyone else experience head trauma and then have a high like I described? Was that reaction to smoking normal, or should I take a break for a couple months? Or was that just some straight up good medical weed?

  2. Weed makes your face feel weird.

  3. You'll be fine.

I've had a concussion and smoked the same day (probably not recommended) and nothing bad happened.

  4. ok thanks. The only thing that i was worried about were the crazy physical symptoms, cuz usually when i smoke i day dream, and it usually more of a mental high (not being sober), not the physical symptoms.

  5. It was probably because of your condition lol. Maybe wait till you get a little bit better to continue smoking again :)

  6. I would guess it is the weed man. I am unaware of any instances where weed would mess with your nervous system or ocular system. And if the only injury you suffered was just the broken nose you'll be fine.

  7. Something minor could have happened at the same time you were high, then you started over thinking it and connected it to your broken nose and began panicking.

  8. Well for one, thc is a neuroprotectant, and is actually good for your recovery. I'm sure granny will post the links and give actual knowledge, but I rexcall reading some articles on her list about it. Also, I fractured my skull, got a head concussion and inner ear concussion all in the span of half a second. Needless to say when I came to, the head pain and vomiting were unbearable. The next day I had some bud dropped off and I gotta say, I honestly don't know what I'd do without it at that point haha.

tl;dr those effects sound odd but bud is great for head trauma

  9. I'd to take a look at the articles she has. Where can I find granny at haha
