Smoking while driving

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by Chillumss, Dec 9, 2010.

  1. anyone else think it's pretty safe to do so if you aren't stupid about it? Just hit the blunt low, or if it's a joint looks like a cigarette from a distance. Smell really isn't a problem either since you are constantly moving. What's your opinion on this, and do you do it?

  2. I don't smoke and drive ever. Your car smells like ganj especially to the nose of a police officer. Trust me.

  3. It depends on where you live. I'm out in college in PN and it's a pretty rural town, I just go cruise around the farmlands, and backroads where no cops ever go. Also, you can clear the smell out by rolling down windows + spraying Febreze.

  4. true since they ALWAYS seem to smell weed even when there is none

  5. yea me and my friends do it all the time. leather interrior is prime for this.

Smoking blunts in a car is the safest, and most effective way while smoking and driving. At least in the cities. If you're getting lit up and driving 70 mph you can easily throw the blunt out the window of your vehicle and the cop obviously won't walk back hundreds off feet to find a blunt in the middle of the highway---let alone it would have probably been destroyed by other cars by then and blown off in the wind somewhere. But of course, if you have MORE bud in the car and if your car smells like weed (which it would after smoking a blunt), then you could get caught with other shit.

But if the ONLY weed you have in your vehicle is your BLUNT that ur tokin on then just throw it out as ur getting pulled over and your good. Your car will smell like weed and they can search it all they want but obviously won't find anything

  7. I saw someone (the driver) hitting a big, big bubbler on the I-90, hehe.

  8. I've been smoking while driving for about 4 years now. Basically when my friends got drivers licenses. Never been caught or pulled over. We smoke pipes too. Everyone around here cruises. The cops don't notice if you're discreet.

  9. I sure hope it wasn't today, haha.

Its more of a pain in the ass to unload the ash and repack the bubbler while driving than hitting it.

Depends where you're at, on the highway, @ 70, it works best. Although I like using a pipe so its not lit all the time like a jay or blunt.

Just be smart about it, dont smoke at intersections, lower your head a bit when hitting, dont stick the blunt out the window when ashing it, don't open your window at a redlight to throw the tobacco out the blunt, don't hit it in stop and go traffic, etc etc etc.

  10. Me and my boys used to always drive around and smoke bowls then we got stupider and started smoking our bong while driving haha but i always made it home

  11. yea man I think its pretty safe. I smoke my pipe everyday on the way to school.:smoke: Except today I was on my way to school but wasnt paying attention while i was taking a toke and when I look back up it was the sheriff right in front of me .That red light seemed like ages... guess he didn't notice though so I just kept driving to school and took a couple more tokes while I was finding parking.:hello:

  12. Driving blitzed is fine. Driving AND smoking is a bad idea. My friend's car was searched because the cop claimed it smelled like marijuana, the kid doesn't smoke and the car got searched.

Bottom line, if you smoke and drive simultaneously, don't post a thread crying about it if you get caught

  13. We smoke in the car a lot.
Usually once a day, sometimes way more.
Just don't give the popo's a reason to pull you over and you'll be fine.

Rollables are always a good idea, because they can be eaten/thrown out with little hassle. Pipes bring in the paraphernalia charges.

  14. Smoking while driving is always a terrible idea. I can't believe I used to do it all the time.

  15. Driving while intoxicated is illegal.
And intoxicated doesn't just mean drunk, it also means high. And yes, being high while driving DOES effect your driving skills negatively.

Now with that out of the way, driving while high it really depends on where.
If you're just cruising around with few to no other cars around, it's not that big of a deal. Just stay off the major roads. :smoke:

Can't say no to a good roaming hotbox. Just remember to play it safe.

  16. You know how my body reacts to weed? duuuuuude

  17. It definitely hinders your driving ability, to argue otherwise is inane.

  18. Since I am a responsible adult, I don't drive while high.

  19. The only thing you're worrying about is getting caught, and that is sad.

Driving while intoxicated is a selfish fucking thing to do.

So anyone who drives high is obviously not responsible, right? That's a bold remark, my friend

Do you think it is impossible to drive the way you normally would sober?
