smoking weed and working out

  1. so i know theres a common (and usually well deserved) stereotype that stoners are generally lazy and unmotivated but are there any others out there who defy this stereotype? I go to crossfit 4-6 days a week and love to work my ass off at the gym. I also diet fairly strictly and work on maintaining low body fat%. However, i also love to smoke usually a few times a week, sometimes more, sometimes less. is there anyone else out there that loves to smoke but also loves to train?
     
  2. I love hitting the gym. I used to take a couple tokes beforehand so I wouldn't feel the burn and lift more weight. Just gotta be carefull.
     
  3. I go to the gym everyday after work for about an hour, work my ass off and when I get home after a long day there's nothing nicer then a fatty bong load to relax and it feels a lot better IMO after your all sore and tense from weights
     
  4. ha well i have yet to do a crossfit workout high, and i dont plan on it anytime soon, but i definitely agree that smoking after working out is very relaxing.
     
  5. marijuana is a vasodialator..meaning it opens up your blood vessels so your body transports nutrients quicker to muscles to explain it quickly. i love lifting high, i can run for so much longer too
     

  6. im a cyclist, so riding 60 + miles a day stoned off my ass is always an adventure.

  7. Working out is as much a way of life for me as weed. I lose myself at the gym, and sometimes find myself working out for 3-4 hours ha
     
  8. Yeah I run and work out high but I havent been able to the past few months

    cant wait to get back to it though toking up is good for before and after
     
  9. Bumping this to ask, any of you guys feel too lazy or too relaxed to workout after you get high?
     
  10. I literally smoke in between sets. I like lifting drunk too, but it can get dangerous. I hurt myself really bad working out while drinking last year.
     
  11. I got a six pack in 6 weeks by working every 2 days and smoking some bud randomlly inbetween.
     

  12. LMFAO thats just something thats an obvious DO NOT DO lol i can only imagine the creative ways u managed to hurt urself doing that lol happy u didnt manage to kill urself tho:wave:

    and as for me i cant train and smoke,i love both but if im training its cuz im on a t-brake or im trying to limit my smoking
