Smoking vs tea

  1. Got some question, dudes.

    Because i want to save stash, i am used to smoke spliffs, half tobaco, half weed in a joint. Ussualy, i put 0.3g in a spliff, and than smoke it in 2 parts.

    I tried vaporizing just weed, without tobaco, but it's not a strong enough effect, so i ended up wasting too much weed. So i am back to spliffs.

    I want to try make a tea from decarboxylated weed.

    Will i waste a herb if i make a tea, and what should be recommended dose for one cup for me?

  2. Idk about tea how would the THC bind to anything.. tea is just made with water right??? You need to use something like oil,butter ect something fatty or you'll waste your weed:confused_2:

    & Why don't you try using a pipe/bong if u don't want to smoke spliffs/don't want to use a vape lol

    Yea, i know i need a butter in a tea. You mix decarboxylated weed with butter, put it in a tea ball, and than put a tea ball in a water, slightly shimmering for about 35 minutes.

    I asked, because vaporizing didn't gave me so positive effects, didn't saved nothing with it, the opposite, i feel i wasted on a high. So i wonder, if i make a tea, if i could save some stash with it.

    I like spliffs, but sometimes want to try out safer alternatives.

    Haven't tried smoking with a pipe yet, i am not used to it, can i save some stash with a pipe?

  4. Hell yeah dude if you use a pipe/bong it'll save same stash & it'll get you higher then a spliff would.. + you can put like 0.1gs in a pipe & none of it gets wasted since it inhaling it all :hello::hello:

  5. If you really want to save on your stash & get high as fuck make a gravity bong.. all you need is a bottle, a bucket/something deep enough to submerge the bottle & tinfoil


    You can use like 0.2gs in a gravity bong & you'll be high as fuck since it forces smoke into ur lungs :smoking:

  7. You get the most out of your stash with edibles then any other method of use.
    0.3 grams of hash won't do much in a pipe or a joint but as an edible it'll blow my socks off for 8 hours.

    Decarb 240 F for 40 minutes

    5 grams of anything. Kief or hash or powdered buds or concentrate.
    1 tablespoon Coconut oil
    1/2 teaspoon Lecithin
    Combine
    Heat 220 F for 20 minutes
    Freeze (optional)
    Heat 220 F for 20 minutes
    Done

    Kief or Hash 1 drop = 3mg
    Powdered Buds 1 drop = 1mg

    Take 10mg and wait an hour
    If not stoned
    Take 20mg more and wait another hour
    If not stoned
    Take 40mg more and wait again.
    Continue doubling and waiting until it works.

    Coconut oil hits in half the time as all other oils. 45 minutes.
    Lecithin doubles the effects and duration.

  8. Just throwing in here...I've said this many times before...but vapourisation is really something you've got to go all in on, and ditch smoking for a while to see the benefits, and to achieve the kind of highs you want.

    When I initially decided to quit smoking, I went through a few shitty vapes...this taught me to buy quality.

    Though to be honest even when I moved on to my first quality unit, like you I didn't feel the effects as much...though I'm my case I was pretty steadfast in wanting to quit smoking, so I just decided "fuck it, maybe this is as good as it's going to get" and while I thought it sucked, I just decided to deal with it.

    I'm so glad I did.

    After a couple of weeks, a lot of coughing nasty shit out of my lungs, and just vaping with no smoking - I noticed I was getting higher from it. Another couple of weeks, my lung capacity increased, my chest felt better and I was getting higher still, to the point there was almost no ceiling on it...I could get higher without it weighing me down like more cones/bowls would have.

    Also might be worth adding that part of what you're experiencing is the fact there's no tobacco in there.
    People who smoke with tobacco tend to miss that initial hit, which is more about that, less about the weed...this is just something you'd have to get used to.

    Anyways, I think it's just one of those things that if you're gonna make a go of it and get the benefits and as high as you're able, you need to set your sights on ditching the combustion all together for at least a month.
    It's like it takes a while for your body to clear the kind of built up congestion on the lungs/throat that makes vaping less effective, and get used to this method of absorption into the lungs.

  9. I can vouch for the recipe posted by BrassNwood: it comes on strong and has a wonderfully long post-peak glide back to reality.

    Thanks for recomendation anyone. I think i am gonna try out this tea recipe with butter i found on internet first. It's simplier for me than making a cannabutter or rso oil. Also i am gonna try a pipe, than, later, maybe a bong too.

    I am used to spliffs from highschool years, we always smoked weed with a tobacco, just to save a stash on the long run.

    Vaping gave me less high that i am used to, i found out i lost a lot of stash with it. And i have a quality vaporizer. Also that avb weed... i only found an effect if i lately rolled a joint with a lot of that avb, added a hint of fresh herb to it. It was a good experience vaping, a really good taste and all, but much, much less of an actual effect, compared to spliffs.

    All in all, i have to try these alternatives by myself, it all works differently on different individuals. Someone will say, vaping gaves you less of effect, while the other say it's an opposite. And that's like with all the things. It all depends on individual.
