Smoking vs Eating - my take on the difference

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by xephyd, Feb 7, 2010.

  1. something i threw together while i was chillin on some cannafudge
here's how i look at the difference between smoking and eating
    [IMG]

    - how high the noticeable effects line is depends on your tolerance level
    - either peak can be higher or lower than the other (aka you can get higher from edible than smoking)
    - since the rise to smoke peak is sharper + faster than edible, it seems more in your face, crazy, as opposed to gradual edible high

    any thoughts?

  2. yeah i'd eat the edibles first, then smoke a nice blunt, then you'll be stoned for a LONG ass time you'll feel effects fast obviously and lasts long cuz edibles will kick in as time goes

  3. i thought that chart was perfect. With my ediables I eat, smoke shortly after(5 min), then smoke a lil more(2 hours later) and that works well. im pretty ripped on thc pils right now along with to bowls peace

  4. I think that the edible slope should be raised slightly higher than the smoking one. Yeah, it doesnt start out as strong as smoking, but with a really good edible, over time you will feel more fucked up than smoking. Pretty good chart tho.
