Smoking vs Da Buddha, which saves more weed?

Discussion in 'General' started by Chirf, Dec 3, 2012.

  1. So I was wondering, if I had the choice to ONLY vape the weed (not smoking the remains/duff) with Da Buddha, or just smoke it in a pipe, which would save me the most weed?

I gotta make this stuff last. I wanna know which method uses the least amount of weed.

(SIDE NOTE: Do bongs save more weed than pipes?)

  2. lmao bongs burn threw weed faster than a blunt does.

And Technically......... If you vape the weed you get the thc out of it.. then if you smoke the vapped but you get the CBD's or what ever the other chemical is.

But if you just throw it in a pipe and take a hit here and there thats the best way to conserve.

  3. It depends how you smoke out of a bong. If I take snaps I could snap like a gram or more in one session with out even noticing but if I just smoke a couple bowls out of the binger then I save a lot more weed. I'd say Da Buddha would help until your tolerance got adjusted to a vape.

I mean, I know you can smoke the duff, but that's not a part of the question lol im choosing not to smoke the duff cause its not pleasant.

I wanna know if straight vaping with Da Buddha uses up more weed than just smoking from a pipe. I'd like to avoid smoke entirely (ive had a bad cough, and vaping has helped a lot).

EDIT: Oh, didn't see the last part. Yea, my friend said it conserves fairly well that way... I may end up doing that some.

Bongs are probably the single most efficient way to smoke, but i have heard and can understand why vaping would be even more efficient if you had a vape that wasnt a complete joke...like most are.

  6. But you'd still need way less weed to get high from vaping it than you would smoking it. When you burn weeed, some of the chemichals you want are released into the smoke you inhale, some into smoke you don't inhale (less so with a bong than with a j or blunt) and some is actually destroyed in combustion itself. So you get more of the active chemicals that were orriginaly in the weed when you vape.

I recently bought an Arizer solo.
Last weekend I brought it to a group session for the first time, and it got 5 people ripped on about the same amount of weed as one guy would smoke at once by himself.

Solo stems only hold about .15g max. We vaped 2 stems, and neither was packed full, so that was at maximum .3 grams, but probably more like 0.2-0.25. That got 5 people ripped. (2 of the people in question were admittedly lightweigts, but the other 3 had been smoking for years. And one of them owned a magic flight, and wasn't new to vaping either)

Also, you get to use ABV.
I agree with you that smoking it would be unpleasant, but you can still use it twice.
I'm saving mine to make edibles (just use more than you would if it was fresh weed, of course). You don't need to decarb if it's been through the vape already.

PS: From what I've heard, the 7th floor vapes are among the least efficient desktop vapes because a lot of the vapor can condense in the long whip. I'm not certain of the verity of that statement, but it makes sense to me.

  7. I also agree with this guy.

It should be a quality vape. If you get a shitty one for 50$, its not gonna save you anything, it won't be a good experience, and it might even be made with plastics that release harmful fumes when it heats up.

Da Buddah should be fine, though. Even if it is relatively inefficient for a stationary vape, most people on here who got one say that their consumption decreased by half with a DBV, which I'd say is a damn good value.
Especially if you live someplace with expensive bud.
