Smoking to help head aches?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Trevo4311, Jan 26, 2010.

  1. So I have a sinus infection and there's alot of pressure built up in my head cause of it, so I'm having extremely bad headaches. Well i've been taking tylenol and smoking to help releave the pain. The problem is that im out of Tylenol and almost out of weed, but what weed I have left im trying to conserve for today and tomorrow. But my head is really hurtin right now and I want to smoke so bad but im trying to conserve what should I do?!?!?

  2. for one, if you question wether or not you should smoke, its probably not a good idea to smoke. its part of the responsibility and not letting it controlle you. just be patiant and wait till your healthy then take that first relaxing smoke, makes the wait all the more enjoyable.

  3. Not really. Smoking isn't bad for you when your sick. It actually helps with alot of the symptoms of being sick. I almost always smoke when I'm sick too. I'm usually better within a few days and I barley notice being sick.

Also the sinus infection isn't even making me sick. Its just giving me killer headaches, which marijuana helps alot.

  4. He's not saying its bad for you when your sick. He's saying when your'e in a situation where your unsure if you should smoke or not, you should show your the boss and just save it for another day. Honestly, I would just go buy more tylenol. Or get vics if you can

  5. tylenol (and weed) will only help with symptoms of an infection, neither will help heal the infection. You need antibiotics. go to the doctor's office, and start taking amoxicylin or something. If you're going to medicate yourself, you might as well do it in such a way as to help the condition you are complaining about. That means taking care of the root of the problems, instead of all the little symptoms that pop up as a result.

  6. Smoke is very bad when your sick, ESPECIALLY with a sinus infection. If you can use it any other way I would say Go for it.

  7. Wayyyy ahead of you there :D
I went to the doctors office earlier today and got some anti-biotics. She also told me to take some seudafed (sp?). That plus weed and there is my cure... too bad im almost out of weed D=

  8. I hope you know that Sudafed is what meth is made from.
I will take cannabis over OTC meth any day.

  9. sudafed is an ingredient in meth, it's not meth or diluted meth, it's only a part of the whole, and only part of sudafed is used for making meth, they have to extract it.

  10. Dont do it man trust me i been there many many times. Smoke + Sinus Infection = Bad all the time. When you smoke, smoke can get up into your sinuses and actually make it get worse particularly if you aren't taking any meds for it. And just so you know I tell you this from personal experience

  11. Mucinex for the sinus pressure. Go to the doc and get amoxycillin if you don't already have it so you can kill the bacteria.

  12. i find that edibles really clear my sinuses

  13. There you go! I would say either Vape it or Eat it.
    Smoking with Sinus-Infections is a No-Go.
