Smoking through chimney?

    So I was sitting in my living room and just thought, "Hey WTF I have a chimney?" and then i thought of the possibility of smoking next to it and maybe exhaling into the chimney so the smoke will rise and go outside and it won't stink up my living room. Just wondering is anyone has tried it and if so how was the result? I usually just go outside and smoke its just a preference i like it more, but i can see how having a chimney might be beneficial to those who like to smoke indoors but live with parents or something like that. (I tried searching to see if a thread like this already existed but couldn't find anything but if one does exist feel free to delete this thread by all means):smoke:

    Interesting thought, but the chimney might start to reek of weed, unless it was used a lot i wouldnt use it as my primary way

    Sounds like a pretty good idea to me. I used to have a fireplace in my house but I had it removed due to the fact it didn't get used very much (Florida :( ) I think there are are other things that affect how the chimney works (Negative pressure and whatnot) but I'm sure the limited amount of smoke you'll be exhaling will be fine. Might be a good idea to have a small fan near by?

    Yeah you're right it would probably start to smell up after a while.
    I wouldn't use it as a primary source either just thought maybe it could be like a once in a while kinda thing and then maybe actually starting a fire after you're done could help get rid of the smell. But then again starting a fire while high is probably a terrible idea hahaha

    Lol I read the title and thought you were gonna try to smoke out of your chimney or something haha.
