Smoking Sleepytime tea?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Coldgreenetea, Jan 25, 2010.

  1. Ok, so I smoked my last bowl early this morning. Im all out of weed now and I plan on staying sober for the week because I was just being stoned for like 2 weeks and I fucked up half of my classes now...

Well, tomorrow I have class, not early though. But I want a good sleep. I cant sleep right now, I have no medicine, no food really or anything else, besides sleepytime tea. So ive heard that some people into herbal smokes like smoking tea. I tried smoking some green tea earlier today and I felt it a little bit, but it just felt like a caffeine buzz or something. The sleepytime tea I have also says it has like Valerian Root inside it.

  2. Don't smoke tea because you cant/don't want to smoke buds. Tea cannot replace cannabis. The smoke is harsh and though some of them may have an effect(google them) it will be a small one and probably wont help you sleep . Thats said there are cheap herbal extracts and legal buds available which do provide a more substantial effect (google them). If youve got a couple beers you could drink those or perhaps just some warm milk. tylenol pm works well for me or nyquil but frankly, if you lay down close your eyes and think about something boring that is not weed related you will fall asleep eventually.

  3. drink it...

  4. lol k

  5. Personally, (can't speak for you), I have found that 90% of those "go to sleep" OTC medications are relying on the placibo affect. If you think it will work, it probably will. If you think it wont, it wont. Going on an "evidence onlly" mindset, I have found Unisom Tablets to be a good anger killer, but not worth shit for acually making you want to sleep. I know what will make you sleep, but this isn't Pandora's Box, so it's not appropriate here.

  6. hahah dont put your lungs through that. I think you should just buy some OTC sleep medicine at your grocery store instead.
