i've heard contrasting ideas online and i just wondered what everyone else has heard. devastating news hit the other day when i found out my plant was a male, and i have heard that you arent supposed to smoke the males, but i also saw some sites that said it can be reasonably done, or that you can use it's pollen for hash. any ideas??
You can make hash out of it, but that's about all it's good for. No, nvm. I saw a recipe for brownies that made use of male leaves. You need like an oz, though. If your plants a male, why not just grow another one. I mean, I guess there's some reason you can't or else you would, but I'm curious what would stop you.
bottom line is that there is that the THC production in the male cannabis plant is so low (as flower_child said) you can pretty much only make hash out of it; even then it's a pain because the hash is pretty low quality. You're better off just keeping it as a house plant or tossing it [[By the way, next time, you'd be better posting this in the growers section]]
oh my only reason for not growing another female (at least now..) is that im in school, and w/ xmas break coming up and everything, i really will only have time after break ( i was hoping this would be a nice lil xmas present for me and my friends but oh well). so if im gonna make hash out of it, or brownies, should i let it mature fully or just use the leaves now ? ( 2 to 3 weeks into flowering cycle)
