Smoking Outdoors in Winter

Discussion in 'General' started by ZenStar, Nov 19, 2021.

  1. Fellow blazers, what are some of your go-to spots for smoking outdoors in the winter?

Do you have any good tips for finding places like abandoned buildings, outdoors restrooms, etc. other cool and warm places to smoke outside when it's cold?

Or do you just have tips in general for smoking outside in the winter months?

  2. Before I had a car I'd worry about stuff like this. Conversely, I understand folks not wanting to get their automobile stank like dank. When I used to be on foot patrol I'd just hoodie up and smoke; only time I'd ever look for 'shelter' is when it'd be rainy. No one really gives a fuck here in Cal, like as long as you're not standing on their front lawn smoking.

  4. Car isn't a bad idea if you take care of the smell with ozium (only spray right before u leave and don't return for a few hours at least). But worth noting complete bs DUI charges can be made against people for smoking in their car even if they don't drive, have no intentions to and the engine isn't even on. Window tint can be a good idea too. Also those light reflector things for your windshield.

  5. probably best not to smoke in your car.
Easiest DUI charge a cop could ask for.

pack a phat bowl, or roll a few joints and take a stroll.

I don't smoke anymore, I vape. (Yes smoke hits harder - but there are a vast amount of chemicals in smoke!) Back in my college smoking days, I remember taking some nature walks. It's safe to say I'm also done with tobacco leaf blunts! I still remember the burn of more than one Honey Dutch!

In the modern era, you can pick up a battery powered vaporizer. I use an Arizer but there are many, many others for a reasonable cost (including from the host of this site). Just as effective as smoke without the toxic load from combustion chemicals. They will have much less smell than smoke, indoors or out. Indoors, easily taken care of with a HEPA air purifier.

I recognize some will prefer smoke but being a regular user I try to keep the lungs in best condition as possible. In any case, a vaporizer is much more discreet as to make outdoor use a non issue.
