  1. Most animal lovers would cringe at this post, however read on and it might help. I LOVE animals, dogs horses cats you name it. I have a 5 year old Pit Bull and a 9 week old AmStaff puppy. Savannah (the 5 y/o) was abused when I got her and she has emotional stuff and a busted leg. I can\'t afford surgery so we use painkillers during the cold winters. Anyways! She also has been disgnosed with cancer. She is my BABY. I know she is in pain somtimes because she limps. Yet no putting her down because she is still VERY full of life. Alright I keep getting distracted, I brought her over to my friends house and she was in the room when we were smoking. Now I totally disagreed with smoking even around animals and would open the door, windows, whatever to air it out so she didn\'t feel the effects. Well after a COLD bit they didn\'t Want to open the doors and such, and finally I gave in. We ended up smoking some nice pot, and a bowl of hash. When I got home Savannah was running around like she never had a busted leg, and was VERY laid back, usually she is anxious. It relaxed her and cut out the pain from her leg, and cancer I assume. Long story, well long, I take her whenever we smoke, she LOVES it and if I bust out a pipe she does a body shake and starts shaking with excitement, tail knocking things over and such lol! Now Tommy, my puppy, is too young to be smoked out, however he dove head first into my friend\'s margarita lol. Anywho just wanted to say it toally changed my mind. I am still iffy with dogs who have never been smoked out before because they can still have bad reactions to it, but in this case, my dog loves Mary Jane.

  2. one of my friends told me that smoking with her pug could kill it. shes prolly full of shit tho.

  3. Yeah I wouldn\'t try it too much with the smaller breeds, and like I said above they could have different reactions. Some dogs might be allergic, and the risk with Savannah was making her dog aggresive more then she already is. Luckily no issues have come up, but yeah I would be careful with small dogs (damn ankle biters) lol

  4. Nothin bad could happen. Unless you give the dog the bong and he takes a toke. Even at that nothin bad should really happen.

  5. i only smoke out my dog on holidays or special occasions. he loves it and i love him :D

  6. hell my dog is ALWAYS with me an I ALWAYS gotta spliff/bong hangin outa my mouth. he loves it! sometimes it really difficult to wake the lazy git up in the morning when hes asleep under my covers on my bed (\'down boy, Charlie down, charlie get off my bed, oi dont even think about going.... charlie get out from under my covers, oi you lazy shite, oi, ah sod it, night boy\'). he\'s a right pot head, i get some weed out and he tries to eat it!
I am against smoking animals out, but he wont leave me alone lol, he loves it! His previous owner (rescue dog) must\'ve been a smoker lol

  7. For fucks sake, not this shit again....... I thought all this silly talk had been banned?

I\'m not going to repeat the lecture, just don\'t do it, OK?

And don\'t own animals if you aren\'t responsible enough to care for them, and not treat them like a toy to impress your giggly little friends with.

  8. I enjoyed this story, hope all is well in the future with your dog.

  9. how do u know a dog doesnt like weed, cause i know for a fact that my friends dog loves it. His dog is this little cute and very smart dog that apparently once was in his room while smoking and he didnt know. He didnt smoke the dog up but he noticed it lookin a little funnny. He says taht after that he let the dog chill with him while he smoked and slowly the dog would become more comfortable around his joint or w/e (the dog used to run away from him once it saw the lighter flame). Anyway, now the dog will run up to his lap and jump up and down till he shoots sum smoke at it, then the dog tries to eat and sniff at the smoke. After about one or two of those the dog looks like the happiest thing ive ever seen, and about a half an hour later it just crashes on his bed or whereever and chills. Not to mention she definately gets the munchies cause we saw that dog tear through a big bag of potatoe chips it found once while high.

  10. ....and that he doesn\'t wind up with cancer from second-hand smoke.... or have an accident or becomes sick.

Cannabis, like many, many other plants, is poisonous to dogs. Not fatal, but poisonous all the same. Ask your vet. If you care a shit about your dog, leave him be.

    Jesus...

  11. All you have shown is your ignorance of dog welfare.

If you want to know how I know, search through and find another of my many posts on this nonsense. I\'m sick of repeating myself.

  12. that must be the best poison ever cause this kids dog really seems to enjoy it, not to mention that it is my friends dogs choice cause he never smokes it up unless if it jumps up at whatever hes smoking and does the cue that means \"i wanna smoke\" which is it sniffing and opening and closeing its mouth.

  13. dogs love chocolate too dewd, but thats poison to them!

My dog will sit in the same room as me (has seperation angsiety (sp) from spending too much time with me while I been jobless). I do not blow smoke at my dog and would never force him to stay in the room with me, the door is always open and i always have a window open too.
I love my dog to bits and would never intenienaly (sp, is that even a word?) hurt him.

  14. Astounding ignorance, once again.

Like I said, I have gone into this a ton of times, find my posts about it.

I\'m tired, I have a headache which this peurile rubbish makes worse, and having already thrown a physical punch or two I\'d rather not have today, I trust you will you\'ll forgive my being in no mood to throw verbal ones. Now, pop off, there\'s a dear, read my informative and enilghtening posts, and learn something about how dogs work.

Mister2, point taken; differnce is, you can buy a doggie chocolate substitute, but not a cannabis one..... if you take my meaning...

  15. no point getting all worked up LeGrenouille...some people just don\'t give a shit

  16. yes i totally understand, i was jus stating the fact that poison dosent nesseceraly taste bad to some kid :D

  17. I know..... It just irks me when people come out with some half-arsed reson they think it\'s OK, when they clearly can\'t see outside the box.

I wonder if ignorance really is as blissful as people say?

  18. Try it, you\'ll like it.

  19. yeah my cat jack is a pot head he will hide in my closet so when i light up and their is a huge cloud brewing in my room he comes out to get blitzed.. its not my fault but hey he loves it. Yeah hope all ends well with your dog thats some sad stuff right their.

  20. My dog likes getting high more than I do. It has never had an impact on his competition frisbee. He\'s smarter than your honor student and more athletic than 9 out of 10 dogs out there. He\'s 1 1/2 and been smoking since he was 4 months. 13 years from now I\'ll let you all know what the cause of death was.
