My buddy just hooked my up with a free gram of pure opium. It's kinda' like a black tar, and has a smell I can't point out.. but reminds me of something minty almost.. hah. Now I've never smoked opium before and I was wondering what it's like, and what to expect. I am getting ready to load my glass piece with a nice amount and get all toked and just lay in my bed and listen to some good tunes. Just kinda' wondering what it's going to be like.. I can't think of any better way to spend my saturday.. we have a damn heat warning where I live and they aren't even recomending you go outside.. So toke I shall!

Well this is how it goes. Have your bowl, be sitting down somewhere comfortable, and have a pillow behind you so that after your first bowl, just to lay back down on. Ancient asian style. The active ingridients of opium are morphine and codeine- so it should feel like those if you've ever had them. I've never done opium but have read up on it. Enjoy
Ok... Morphine is NOT the chemical in Opium. Morphine is made out of the opium poppie... just like herion. Opium, Morphine, and Herion are all opiates, and should be handled with care. They all have a high potential for addiction, as well as potential to overdose... so don't overdo it.
if you want to smoke it, you should mix it with some weed so that it will burn better and/or use a butane lighter....
Morphine is in opium as is codeine. I've smoked opium several times and all that happened was I got really tired. It has a GREAT smell and often incense is sold as opium so you may not even have real opium. If it is real, be aware that it is very addictive.
This is my Second Post so i don't know if i am doing this right but anyway opium feels like a sorta Like Falling into a Big black hole of euphoria and You can feel it Creeping slowly through your body warming Evey inch
Ok back on subject here. You wanna know how to smoke it propally? You use a vaporization pipe (or of course a opium pipe--lol duh). Even better yet--put the opium ontop of your bowl of pot--a nice fat bowl. The bowl will seem to last forever with the opium in their. Should be fun!
Yeah it was great. Thank you all for your input. I smoked it ontop of a few fat bowls on my glass piece. It felt great, I felt all warm and cozy, completely relaxed.. but I didn't feel tired, just extremely relaxed. I understand the addiction thing though, my buddy can only get it every so often from someone who goes out of state to get it. I will have to say that I like opium and it's nice to smoke every now and then.
Ya for sure dude. Ya smoking basically anything with pot is syergenic. (i.e. opium, xtc, anything). So defintly pot will work with opium pz
I've smoked opium before, its pretty cool, just a really laid back high. Most people refer to the smell as being "flower-like" and tastes just like it as well. I never got into it much though, since i try to stray away from drugs that have high addiction potential. But when i did smoke it, i just broke off a small chunk, roll it in a ball, and pack it with some herb. It's definitly something worth doing every once in a while.
