Smoking losing its edge...

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by mystikast, Dec 4, 2006.

  1. I've been smoking for about four years now, on and off for 3 years and daily (3-4times/day) the past year or so. However, recently (the past month or so) the edge of smoking has gone. I am not getting the same effects as I used to, even when I smoke a good amount of nugget. My smoking setting changes, alone, in a group, I usually do it all. It's just not as fun as it used to be... why? I don't really want to take a break from smoking, is there any other way to spice it up again? Nothing is going on in my life that would make me depressed or anything negative. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy smoking, but its not really like it used to be... anyone feel the same or have any suggestions?

    (first post btw, hello)

  2. Well.... a tolerance break WOULD be your best option....

As far as spicing it up though... Maybe try varying methods of smoking. GBong it one night.... smoke a blunt the next... ect....

Other then that... I don't know really what to suggest, bro. :smoking:

  3. Nope, no other way, unless your looking to add other drugs to the mix... which is a whole other ballgame.

Sounds to me like you really need a nice long tolerance break.

  4. Hey man, i had the same problem a few months ago. But i quit for a while for some other reasons not by choice, i just recently started and one bowl gets me good and stoned :D
(Btw first post also.... wierd) anyways hi and i don't know of any other way to lower your tollerance without stopping for a bit.

    Psychopatic.

    :bongin:

  5. sounds like to me you need a healthy dose of a nice primo blunt.

  6. Definately no need to start adding other drugs to the mix... This sort of logic is why the ridiculous theory of the gateway drug was conjured. Just look at it in terms of any other thing that is good... Use it in moderation. Of course if you are smoking it every night the experience is going to become diluted. Cut back on the amount you are using. The more you cut back the better each individual use will become. Its really quite simple.

  7. Yeh, tolerance break.

  8. Even quitting for 1 week does wonders. I have about 2.5 g's, and i'm taking a breat for about a week and a half until my new Illadelph bong arrives. w00t!:hello:

  9. dude, to use a highschool sports analogy "suck it up and walk it off" in this case, suck it up and take a nice break... try breaking for 2 weeks, that will give it a nice chance... you will eventually need to take a longer one...

  10. I don't think there is anything wrong with experimenting safely and responsibly with new drugs.

  11. Spice things up?

well, I once saw one of these in my friends parents closet.
