  1. Ok so I've been smoking cannabis for almost a year now and in the beginning I coughed a lot and it was painful to take big hits, as time went by it starting becoming easier to take more massive hits and once a couple months had passed taking big hits was normal and easy. However since the past month or two it's been becoming increasingly more challenging to take big hits, almost to the point where it's as hard as when I was new to smoking. I smoke with my friends and they don't have a problem but I've just gotten worse and worse. So if anyone can inform me on what I can do to make my smoking experience better and less painful please let me know

  2. maybe you're smoking stronger herb

  3. I am but the thing is my friends smoke the same stuff but they're fine

  4. You could have asthma or bad allergies, I have recently started coughing a lot more in the Spring due to newly acquired allergies but if I take some allergy medicine it usually helps me.

  5. Do you smoke ciggs?

  6. What are you smoking out of? How long you holding it in?

  7. Nah that's gross

  8. Oh damn that might be it I'll try taking something

  9. I usually smoke out of this bong with a honeycomb perc, it's about 10 inches or so. And I try to hold in my smoke for as long as I can but I usually just hold it in for like 2 seconds before it starts getting painful

  10. Don't worry about holding it in any longer than 3 seconds, longer than that is a waste and not great for the lungs.

  11. I've heard mixed opinions about that but I'll take your advice to be on the safe side

  12. Sometimes you just need to take smaller hits bro. Smoke til you're on your level and chill. I have allergies and this time of year gets to me as well

  13. People who think they're getting higher from holding it in as long as they can are just feeling the affects of no oxygen. Your lungs will have long since finished absorbing THC (like the other post said, 3 sec is plenty)

  14. Maybe try taking smaller hits and working yourself back up to larger hits, or try vaping herb and see if your lungs feel the same.
