ok so my room mate isnt going to be here this weekend..so im thinking of trying to smoke im my room. its just a one room thing, but i was thinking of completely duct taping the door so its air tight, and then tape garbage bags over the smoke detector and air vents. i will obviously only be smoking late at night but i was wondering since there wont be any air flow will the smell go away by morning?
I smoke Weed in my dorm room daily, night or day, all i do is open my window if im having a MAJOR smoke out, thats it, if its just you on your own you dont have to worry.
If your really paranoid you can make a smoke catcher with a toilet paper roll and some fabric softener sheets inside. When you smoke use a chillim and blow your smoke into the roll. you will be in the clear. I used to live on a train and i did this all the time so my neighbors wouldn't find out, I never got busted.
my room is really small, and the only door is like 12 feet from the window and the door leads directly to the main hall...you really cant smoke here, were not allowed to even have incense.
you lived on a train...wtf... but to the poster dont rely on that sploof method(dryer sheets+whatever) its not thaat effective. i would reccoment making an active carbon sploof which will actually filter the smoke not just sned it through some sunny fresh smell sheet. do it right or dont do it at all,it aint worth bein kicked out of college
Thanks for the term I couldn't think of what it was called. I agree with the active carbon one it will work a lot better. he just said he wanted to do it soon and both the roll and sheets are readily available, I don't keep active carbon just lying around, unfortunately. and yeah it was for work, we traveled the country.
I think someone who was afraid of getting anthrax sealed their house and suffocated to death. So be careful and make sure you get proper ventilation.
Just open a window, put a fan next to it blowing outwards, cover the fire alarm, put a towel under the door and your set. When the bowl's lit just put it in front of the fan and you should bet exactly 0.57% smoke in the room.
Ya, just be careful about it and you should be cool. Don't do like my friends did and smoke out your window when it's early fall and your RA is right nextdoor with the window open. Needless to say they were kicked out on the spot at 11pm and had to fend for themselves till the next day.
if you want honest advice, dont even bother doing it. go outside/car/someone elses house. i know so many people that have gotten caught doing that shit, just dont be lazy and go somewhere.

Depends on how strict the rules are... I know some don't give a shit and don't rat. But just use a sploof . They are so many threads on how to make them.
Exactly. My RA doesn't give a fuck, and I use a window fan to get all of the smoke out of my room anyways. They look like this and work wonders:
Just get some "Closed Cell PVC" Weatherstripping, it was 3 dollars and people can't tell we are hitting our bong until they step into the room. Also, towel the door and if you are really worried get some Ozium or ZEP, or any other commercial grade smoke deodorizer. Peace man, this next bowl is for you (i'm in the dorms too)
damn..ok well i just duct taped off the door, sat in my chair next to the window with some good music going and smoked 2 bowls of straight hash most of the smoke went out but a little came back in...i sprayed some cologne though and am going to leave the door taped for a while so no air gets in the hall
