Is it a bad idea to smoke cigarettes in my apartment that Im growing in? I have some inna closet and the doors always open but a fan is always blowing air out of the closet so cooler air can get in. I havent seen any correlating effects yet. I only smoke like 5-7 a day, in which im at my apt for maybe 3-4 of those
Its not good to smoke cigarettes any time.. lol.. but I smoke also and smoke alot more then 7-8 a day in my office with my plants in it. So far i am in week 7 and no problems that I can tell. They seem to be doing well. I'm sure others will disagree and maybe my plants would be even better.. who knows maybe they are right.
i smoke also but never in the same room... better safe than sorry... my female is doing great no problems at all so far...just dont smoke and then touch them, matter of fact always wash your hands before u touch them
back when i took horticulture in high school the teacher would yell at us to NOT smoke in the greenhouse because the smoke can kill the plant after awhile. te smoke gives the plants a disease thatll eventually kill em. we werent growing cannibus but he was worried about all the plants so maybe the smoke is not good for anything. I dont know for sure just don blow the smoke right on your babies.
Smoke residue can block up pores on the leaves making transipration less efficient. It's not a good idea to smoke around plants, it's counter productive. But I can't see a small amount of smoke causing any real harm. You could keep the closet closed and put a filter on the intake vent so you can smoke in your apartment without affecting your plants.
I'm sure that it may be the case, but it sure didn't hurt my plants and I smoke 2 packs a day, 5-6 cigs in the room with the plants every day and 20+ oz from 3 plants says it doesn't matter. Infact the only thing I'd rather do than smoke cigs and admire my plants is smoke weed and admire my plants. Let me share a pict. Now its tme to smoke a little of lady #1.
OK, I think it would take a significant amount of smoke - more than a few cigs to do any real damage. But personally I would not smoke anywhere near my plants, just as I wouldn't around kids and animals.
whos to say smoking doesnt have some sort of beneficial effect such as pest infestation.. anyway. my office is also my grow room and i grow other things there also. I know in a prestine environment, maybe things would be much better but right now i am happy with the results.
yo chimera, what strain are those that you got 20 ounces off of 3 plants?! Damn Id love to minimize the quantity of plants and maximize yield! I have 8 white widows and ill be *lucky* to get anywhere close to 20 ounces even though they are under a 1000 watt hps. Please let me know tha strain. That looks bomb! you topped it?
Well, they are bagseeds. Your white widow will do the same if you give them proper care. I never top intentionally, Just lst and manipulation.
