It really depends, last year i was a senor and my first period was spanish 3-4. the only reason i passed 1-2 is cuz ythe TA was my friend and
adjusted" the grade *wink* so basically i cant speak spanish for shit, blaze every day vefore class and drew magnifecent worlds of different dimesions and levels and genius in this little npotboook while everyone babble daround me
this year im in ollege and to blaze before my class would fuck my entire day over since its a 7 am trig class ><

 

Dude we pearled blunts in the bathroom at school and smoked right in there, like an army of students made sure nobody was coming

 

I love it. 1st period I have government and the teacher really like to have debates so i always have the best arguments when Im stoned. 2nd period I have an incredibly easy algebra 3 class so I just play games on the calculator. 3rd I have english and Im usually coming down but i write amazing when Im high. then 4th I just sleep through physics and then go home. awwwwww senior year

 

Why would it not be worth it? Highschool was such a joke looking back at it...


We smoked before school, between every class change, lunch and after school. My school was pretty relaxed about pot though, so it may turn out a wee bit different for you.

That's like all we did senior year... as somebody else said HS was a joke. Honestly if I could have gotten a semi-decent job and dropped out I would have without looking back.

I would much rather work in a nice relaxed job that pays about $13+ an hour for the rest of my life than a typical office job. Working in or owning a tobacco/bookstore would honestly be my dream job, and it's not really even something you need schooling for. (Although it would help if you wanted to own it)

 

idk guyz. im a senior in HS and stressing over scholarships. im at a dead 3.0 and its just a pain in the ass. ill probably go to community college after the summer though. i cant imagine having a normal job so ill take this summer to evaluate. i plan on spending this summer traveling, touring, tripping, selling art, just whatever. im going to bring one or two of my nonlazy ass friends probably.

but i blaze before school alot. i hardly get enough sleep so sometimes i doze off in my stupid first block typing/ buisiness course. why the fuck am i taking this class at all? id shoot myself if i ended up doing what most of those kids will end up being

my advice is to not take a year off of the friends i have who took a year off, 95% of them are still taking 'a year off' some 3 years later. I know that I for one, if i took a year off, i would never go to college. If i did not jump into college the summer after high school, i would never go to college.

Yeah I graduated with a 2.4 man. I put absolutely no effort into HS and ended up getting a lot of my credits from alternate sources (summer school, correspondence courses, state pass packets, etc.)

I did a lot of the same things as you want to be doing for the summer and honestly all I can say I accomplished was having a good time. We road tripped, smoked, and used hallucinogens for a few months and realized we needed to get shit together. It didn't really help any of us in any way except celebrating the end of HS.

Find a job that makes you happy. If you're doing something you absolutely love and make just enough to get by (1room apartment, bills, necessities, weed) do you really need to be making $20 an hour?

My only real advice is that if you do road trip, make sure you go to Burning Man.

 

well me and my friend chris want to go to burning man. it is pricey but if i gather money for my travels i can get in and hopefully sell some art there and spare some cash.

i dont want to take a year off but i dont want my last summer to be my last. i think ill take community classes in the summer maybe but idk yet. also my parents say they cant afford to not have a scholarship in a state school but tbh i need to apply for the fall term and just see what my rents do because they are way to vague when planning shit like this and dont give me much info at all. all i know is im not working in some office

 

If you had a 3.0 & parental help you aren't in a bad spot. With my 2.4 and no financial help of any kind I could go to a tech school (financial aid available, but costs are pretty low as it is) and transfer into a decent university as they accept the tech school grades.

Something like that may be a thought, just keep your options open. What kind of art do you do?

 

i go to a parochial high school and have a 4.1. i didnt smoke too much until junior year it became regular and maybe 3x a month before school i did. my gpa went from 3.9 to 4.1 but that's attributed to my better sleep. creates social confrontation with some of the anti-pot clan that makes up 90% of my school. i just have to make sure i/we use rhotos and ozium, and walk in with an altoid mini and noone knows.

ps its a catholic school and im agnostic so the monthly masses basically mean ill be ripped outta my mind. i fall asleep by the end of every mass; sorry all you christians.. feel free to throw that first stone at me. id love to get stoned actually..

 

I went to a catholic school in 2nd grade, and we had masses twice a week for an hour at the church across the street. Even then church bored me so you know what I did? I would fold my hands like I was praying and use my thumbs to press on my eyes til I saw colors...

Back then I thought I was really showing them. Now I wear contacts....

 

I would recommended waiting tell after, its down right disrespectful. i know i know, high school is a joke when it comes to how easy it is to graduate. Treating people how you want to be treated makes life much easier, i mean you don't want to be the kid who puts his hood on his head and sleeps through class and then wonder why the teacher doesn't respect you. But when you hear that bell ring run home and get ripped. That's my two cents

 

My junior year I blazed everyday before school and this year I have cut back recently because I find myself wanting to just leave and go get blazed or at least not do fuckin school work. If I wait til after school I get to look forward to blazin up all day.

 

Not worth it to me, used to do it all the time, and every day I'd go in I would be called up to the office, lol. To sketchy to me, ruins my high, not fun, and you miss everything in school that day.
