Smoking and productivity

Depends on what it is.

Now see, I could argue that getting high will help me get my shit done because I'll actually be interested in it, which in some cases, is true, but for the most part, it's not. Unless that shit of course is video games or munchies. Then I'm down.

But otherwise, it doesn't really work for me. When I get high, I just wanna chill and watch movies. It's a drag when I have to do something serious.

i am such a more productive person in school and at work
its like....weed makes me want to do more and achieve more so i do...because im high

^^^^being burnt is the shit, and personally I do get stuff done really well...except the next day I forget anything we talked about in class...oh well I take bad-ass notes high...so just study em when im not high...works out

 

My stoned productivity comes in spurts. Sometimes I will be like "naw, man fuck it" other times I am down to save the world. It is prolly the indica v. sativa theory.lol

 

For me it's always different. Usually depends on the herb, sometimes I can't do jack shit and other times I'm being rediculously productive beyond anything that's normal. Usually I'm not as physically productive, but mentally more so.

 

I would definetly say that weed IMPROVES my productivity. When I am having to do boring sht, I just smoke a joint and the time ~~~FLYES~~~ bye. Thank god for drugs.

 

I guess it depends on the bud. But, usually it'll just be a drag on my day. Every once in a while though I'll get some buds that make me take on the world. I'll go to work, school, get everything done with no problems.

It depends on how hard i hit it, what method i smoke it, and how good the quality is. If i use my glass spoon and clear 5 bowl packs in 5 hits, all i will want to do is sit on my couch and eat tater tots and play playstation. If i pack the same amount, same type of weed and i hit it soft and make each bowl last like 4 or 5 hits, i will be able to do anything that anyone else wants to do. A plus to hitting it more, but not being as high is, you wont have a really intense high, but your buzz will last much, much longer. If i use a bong or waterfall.... i wont be doing much for the evening. When im burnt, i get congested, but aside from that feeling, i feel smarter because when i snap out of being slow and un-productive, it feels so different.

 

Im a much better bowler when im stoned, thats for sure! I recently joined a bowling league because bowling is pretty fun and its just with a bunch of stoner buddies so we bake and go bowl! But like the people above me said... It really depends on the circumstance, like at my old job when I used to toke before it I would get things done so fast because I was so into what I was doing. But then there are times when I smoke and dont do shit.

 

It sure as hell doesnt make me more productive, but it makes work go by faster

 

i am not productive at all while high... thats why i only do it once a day after i finish all my shit i keep it responsible because i know i cant do anything productive while im high ahha

 

Well depending on how important something is, no matter how high I am I'll get it done.

Most of the time I'll be like fuck it, get stoned and play Scarface, then end up doing whatever I need to do later lol.

 

if its something really important ill avoid weed , school , i was blazed constantly , helped me get my work done , im productive in so many ways when high , like the only time ill write lyrics is when im blazed , i get more of a feel for the beat im listenin to

 

I'm way more productive when Im high, things are just more interesting and easier to understand, except english classes... I hate them with a passion, high or not I find it boring and long.

I think it's just a matter of getting used to being active when you are high, before I wouldn't get high before school because I wouldn't beable to get anything done, but as I smoked more and did more high, it's gotten easier. I'll still have random space outs and giggle fits in class, but thats ussually after I have the work done and Im not busy with anythings.

its all about will power. And environment. Smoke in a work environment and you can get work done. Smoke in a relaxing environment and you won't. Simple as that I think>

 

I go to school high majority of the time, and this is basically what happens:


While high - I complete all work, and manage to concentrate much better

While not high - Talk most of the class, don't finish work, don't even pay attention

 

What a sweet fucking topic! I feel as if I'm very productive high... I love doing crazy ass subjects like anthropology and poetry high; there's nothing like it. Some things I can't do UNLESS i'm high. I have to write this paper for one of my 300-level English classes finding a link between 2 passages that no one else would find- I tried to do it sober and I exhausted all possibilitie... I smoked a little Vap (well, OK, I got blazed as fuck!) and totally fucking found the perfect link and started writing a kick ass paper.

I also love sketching when I'm high... I do some interesting shit, I guess... And then I love writing poetry stoned, too.

Everything feels so exciting high, so I feel much more productive. My grades were better last year when I was stoned all the time than they are this quarter, when I only smoke on weekends.
