Smoking and Driving

when i first started smoking back in my youth that was the only place for the most part i could toke.. in my car driving around with my friends.. i learned through practice but there is the fact that it still dose inpare your reaction time and judgement not to mention attention... oh how i have found myself grooven out to toons way more than necessary while behind the wheel high... all good tho, ive only been in one accident and i wasnt high at the time.. i decided to look at the rhode map i had instead of infront of me at the guy who wasnt going at the green light... put a dent in his trunk hood >< DOH... oh well....... if u think its not a good idea stay away from it cause u could not only hurt yourself but someone else, those TV comershials may be stupid as FUCK but they have some truth behind them

In my 30 years of smoking I've logged well over 2 million miles as a driver. Professionaly and just cruisin..I can honestly say at least 50% of these miles were while high..more like 70% but I wont push it ....The point is Smoking always made me want to drive...I can smoke and drive 15 hr at a wack. In all these miles and years I have not recieved one traffic ticket for any moving violation.

I have had a couple of accidents....However, niether were my fault I was sitting still and got hit. The last wreck the fellow that hit me was smoking...LOL....he got out and said "WOW man why were you stopped..?" I was the last truck in a line of 4 stopped for a car turning...lol....I guess smoking effected him differently...

I have raced cars while high, Operated industrial metal working machinery while smoking, painted cars, and just about everything else you can think of....I think maybe its a physiological thing that is different in each person...Most drugs react differently to each individual user...I guess I am fortunate that I can enjoy smoking without any "real" detrimental imparment.

Now my sister.....LOL....she takes one hit and thinks god is coming to get her....LOL then she falls asleep...

Oh well....to each their own I guess..

drive all the time high so easy and yea im more patient with horrible drivers while im driving high as the sky

 

every person reacts diferentley to every drug from caffeine to alcohol to heroin

 

that guy is clearly a newb and unaware that driving high poses little to no danger to anyone at all. it's not like drunk driving at all. period.

 

I don't like to drive high, but I've done it before...the bad thing is I always listen to my trippy music and then I just start chillin instead of concentrating...luckliky I'm OK enough as a driver...but i'm blazed nowww

 

I drive high on a daily basis. I don't like doing it but I am a decent driver so it doesn't matter. I have ran one red light because I was so high and wasnt paying attention but thats it.

 

Im gonna be one of those smart jackasses here for a second, the really dangerous part of driving high is tripping out. You are chillin, feel pretty alert, then something grabs your mental attention, and you think about it too much, like when you start tripping out to a song on the radio. Then *THUMP* what was that you just hit? It was just a little boy, running out into the street to get his ball (please dont lambast me for using the allusion from the "_____: my anti drug" commercial). And some people can drive without tripping out, they can stay alert while stoned. However, the fact remains that reflexes are delayed (independent of the tripping out factor) when you were stoned.

I don't feel that I can honestly approve of high driving if I disprove of driving while intoxicated with alcohol. So, I approve of neither.

 

I'm alright while stoned, albeit paranoid as fuck.I'M AWESOME ON SHROOMS!!

I try not to drive at all any more but there was a time in my youth when I didn't drive unless I was high. Or so it seemed.

 

OK.... if i ever go to the uk lemme know where you live as to not drive or walk across the road..

but yeah... sativa dom. bud doesnt seem to impair my driving to much... i might toke abit then drive somewhere familiar... but I like to be sober when i'm traveling somewhere new...

and if its indica dom. forget it... i have trouble finding the ignition let alone shifting...

 

I try to avoid it, but often I can't. I drive high ok, but I focus too much on the road, and over-analyze everything I'm doing. I always think every other driver is watching me drive and they are thinking how bad I'm driving. I would avoid it if possible. Plus high driving is a DUI (or a DWI).

 

im 16 and i just drove high for the first time. It was fucking awsome. I hadnt smoked in like 2 weeks and smoked a huge blunt in my car and went to wendys(which was the best food i ever had high). I have a manual car and it made it 10 times more fun. It was so easy to drive high as well maybe even makes u a better driver

 

i drive high all the time. have yet to get a ticket/be in an accident. so to everyone who tells me that it impairs your driving... well, not for me.

 

Driving while your high is very easy, all it takes is practice. After driving high almost every night for a few years, you get used to it. Yes you sometimes stop paying attention, but if you try hard enough you can pay attention to the road.

I find that music helps me concentrate. Just put on some good tunes, and cruise along. However I would suggest that you have a little experience on the road before attempting to drive high. Other than that its all good
