    Whatsup blades,
I recently enlisted in the Marine Corps for 4 years of active duty, 4 years of inactive reserve.
Anyone have any experience with smoking after your 4 years of active duty? I would really like to smoke after I get out of active duty, as I only plan on doing 4 years of active, and then just waiting out the other 4 in the inactive reserves. Am I good to smoke or will I be regularly drug tested, will I have to worry about a lot of other shit?

  2. Thanks for serving. I can't answer your question, but I'm just curious--what are the repercussions if you DO fail a drug test for marijuana? Do you essentially just get kicked out and lose all benefits?

  3. You get kicked out and lose all benefits, I don't think you receive a dishonorable discharge though. I think you get Other than dishonorable discharge, not too sure what its called

  4. You don't get kicked out for dropping dirty once. Especially not weed. They will usually work with you but kiss any promotion away.

Got this from my dad who was career navy.

  5. They no longer drug test you if you're in the reserves. Blaze on!
