Smokin Weed In Amsterdam VIDEO!

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by ineedit, Dec 17, 2004.

  1. That is a tight ass video as soon as i get a chance bam Iam gone to amsterdam!

  2. looks like fun

  3. i've been to amsterdam twice. it's a great, great city and it's very beautiful too

i plan on going back for sure again sometime in the future

  4. The only experiance I have had anything like that is going to Vancouver and hiting up the cafes there.

  5. Okay, maybe you can help me. I'm going to A-dam next year. How do they sell pot there?? Like, is it by the joint or bowlful or what? Cause I want to try different kinds but i'm only there for a day and they have drug dogs in train stations that have trains that connect to A-dam, so I obviously don't want to get arrested in Europe.

  6. they sell pot any way you want it - usually smaller quantities and joints.
i took the train from paris to amsterdam and back to paris and even though i had no weed on me [ i did have hash bonbons though :D] i never saw any dogs or anything... but it's still better to be safe than sorry ;)

  7. hows vancouver, is it the same kind of deal with the cafe's there?

  8. not sure about vancouver... in toronto there is one cafe that i know of, called the hotbox cafe. they don't sell you the weed, but you are welcome to sit down and purchase a non alcoholic beverage or a snack and smoke your own.

just like in amsterdam, anywhere that will sell weed or let you smoke it on their premises will not sell or carry any alcohol.

  9. That would be the kottonmouth king - King's blend music video. I have it saved to my computer.

  10. why dont they sell alchohol if they are letting you purchase mary jane?

  11. In Vancouver they have cafes where you can go to smoke herb. Blunt Brothers and New Amsterdam Cafe are the two places that come to mind. You cant buy herb in the cafes but its easy as hell to get up there. We were able to score a pound of white rino for 1200 american. Was some of the best herb I have ever smoked.

  12. ahh it won't let me see the video it says the page has expiered or something...

  13. weed in the dam is sold by the bag, like 2 and 3 gram bags.........by Dutch law they're not allowed to seell it over the counter if the same counter also sels weed........weird one but, when you buy the weed at a seperate counter, you can then go buy a pint sit down and light up...........weird eh?

when you go into a coffeshop some have the menu hidden, another law, some have a blacked out box with a sign saying "press button to view menu" and a light comes on to reveal the selection of weed and/or hash........try hash in the Dam, best you'll get by far, like nepalese black.........

some places you have to ask for the menu, and the dude behind the counter will give you one........they also loan bongs in certain places, and will have papers and roach in little holsers on tables...........it has to be seen to be beleived.............some in public if you want, but not near children and old people, that way the cops won't bother you.

as for the train stations. don't worry about that i've yet to see dogs at any European train stations, however the French are the most strict when it comes to weed, so i wouldn't advise taking weed back to Paris.

other cities in Eurrope sell weed and the police turn a blind eye.........Frankfurt in Germany, and a place in Denmark that allows nearly all drugs............ps don't buy anything off of street touts in the Dam, they sell shit laced with shit that prob tastes like shit, Woody warned me about them..........Peace out...........Sid

i LOVE that fucking city........it's soooo beautiful, you gotta visit the vondelpark.

  14. I've got a question. Can you purchase a souvenier Cannabis and/or Hash menu from any Coffeeshops? I want one for myself and one for a friend.

  15. The coffee shops are required to comply with a set of conditions known as the 'AHOJ-G criteria': no advertising (A), no sales of hard drugs (H), no nuisance (O), no admission to coffee shops for minors (under 18) (J), and no sales of large quantities (more than 5 grams) per transaction (G). The maximum trading stock is 500 grams, but municipalities can set a lower maximum if they wish. Depending on the specific problem, some municipalities have added a number of extra conditions to the AHOJ-G criteria in the form of a covenant ('no parking outside coffee shops', 'coffee shops must close at 10.30 p.m.', etc.). Local policy with regard to coffee shops is left up to the local authorities, and is discussed between the police, the public prosecutor and the mayor (tripartite consultations). In 1996 the Public Prosecutions Department issued a new set of guidelines that now serve as the basis for these tripartite consultations. Greater attention is paid to compliance with the AHOJ-G criteria under the new guidelines. It was also agreed in 1996 that sales of alcohol should not be associated with sales of soft drugs. Since the start of 1997, the police, municipalities, the public prosecutor and other interested organizations have been able to address any questions or requests for information about local drug policy in general and coffee shop policy in particular to the Support and Information Centre for Drugs and Safety (SIDV).

i'm not sure if all the coffee shops comply with that rule, but the ones i went to did. apparently the authorities will fine the coffee shops for any little violation.

even though i love them together, i personally think it's a good idea to keep the alcohol away from the weed
