Hey everyone! This is my first ever grow so I thought hey why not make a thread. This was planted just over 2 days ago under a 45w 6400k CFL. Progress seems to be good so far so its all good. Im using a PC fan and a fan from an original xbox and its keeping the soil temp at a steady 27C and temp by the light around 30C. The seed is a bag seed from some weed that I suspect to be blue cheese but who knows. But for that reason Im going to call it blue cheese. And Im planning on LSTing it. Anyways heres my first 2 pics and I will keep updating every couple of days. Let me know what you think!
Day 3 after sprout. Also a couple pics of my box because I haven't showed that yet. Its pretty ghetto but seems to be doing the trick so far lol.

Day 4. I'm going to my dads tomorrow for 2 - 3 days so Im wondering if I could water the plant well before I go away and would it survive? How long will it take for it to die? Or any suggestions on how to make an easy drip water system? I tried with some little joint holder thing but it emptys too fast. Thanks in advance for any replies. Need to know this pretty quick. I was looking for more house hold items as Im going sometime today now. I can't go and buy anything because I don't have time, I don't drive and the nearest shop that would even maybe sell that stuff is like a 45min bike ride away so its not really an option at this time. Heres day 5, taken a few mins ago. And you can see my watering system aswell, seems to be working well so far.

Looks nice man congratulations! Yeah with all my attempts at making a drip waterer unsuccessfully I over watered the plant so I just left it for the few days and its not too dry infact, its doing really well. Second set of fans leaves are developing nicely and Ive started the LST now also. I will add some pics on later when the lights come on. And sorry for not updating for so long been busy away and working but now Im back
Hey this is a pic from last night, day 16 from sprout. Started the LST and it seems to be doing pretty well. After my experiments with drip watering systems it was too wet to have the dripper going so I just gave it another good water and hoped for the best while I was away. While I was away my mum turned the box off a couple times, I came back to get some stuff turned it back on and it was off again when I got back but now its in my supervision so it should be okay. I think that might be why it seems a little small because Im not sure how long the light was actually off. But I should have another pic in a couple of hours because I got delayed lol (too stoned to post pics) last night.
Days 19 and 20. Its growing pretty quick to be honest. I think the light must have been off for a good few days. But its all good so far!
Fairly big update here. Days 22, 23, 25 and 26. In the last pics I trimmed up my plant earlier so hopefully it'll bud up better. On week 3, day 6 now, so Im going to leave it another 8 days then switch to flower.
Heres day 28. Had some pretty drastic trimming done, looks pretty sad at the moment but I think its doing pretty well still. The stem is like a small tree. Im thinking of starting flowering in 6 days from now. Id love to hear what some people think so far! Like about my LST and just the plant in general, haven't had any replies for a while.
Looking good!! But when you cut those fans off it really stresses the plant and it will retard growth. It's better to leave them intact, but manipulate them out of the way of the lower branches.
Thanks! I thought so, Ill keep that in mind, at this point I shouldn't have or hope not to remove any more leaves now, with a bit of luck when I go into flowering Ill just have a few medium sized leaves and it will hopefully bud up pretty nice!! Only thing I'm thinking is should I go into flowering tomorrow or keep it going for the extra week in veg. Its about half way across my box but its pretty small now its been trimmed. What do you or anyone for that matter think?
