As the title has said, I have smoked everyday for the past 6 months. I have smoked for years, but never this much. Over the 6 months, I usually smoked in the morning, and at night. I started to smoke at night to help me sleep, as for a while I only got a few hours worth a night. And I smoked in the morning because my most stressful time during the day was the morning/early afternoon. I have high anxiety, and have used marijuana as my relaxer. Especially since a lot of stressful events have happened in the past few months. Including being arrested (non-weed related) for the first (and hopefully last) time, and my court date is in late Feb. So with the high costs of grass, plus the upcoming court fees, phone died today so I need a new phone, my xbox died yesterday (guess I can live without it), and my budget for my upcoming microgrow project, has had me force myself to not smoke regularly anymore. I'm sure fellow blades on here have gone through worst, but for me this will be a feat. It will though give me a chance to see how my body and mind will react over time without the beloved plant in my system. Also this gives me the opportunity to find a new job (been out of work for months, did construction but not a lot of work during winter). If I get the chance too get cooked I'd probably take it, but for now I will take a brake. For the sake of conversation, has anyone else found themselves in a similar situation recently?
Hopefully I'll have the same opportunity. I definitely need to watch my spending, but if someone offers a blunt there's no way I'm passing it up
I'm on a tolerance break right now after smoking multiple times a day for 8 or 9 months.. I actually feel amazing, It's good to get out of my constant pot induced haze. That's not to say I'm not looking forward to medicating soon Good luck getting through your court shit, I'm awaiting trial and looking at 11 months and 29 days, so count yourself lucky.
Thanks BB, good luck to you too. I've never been arrested or anything before, never even a parking ticket. And after doing research on my crime for first timer's I'm only looking at a hefty fine, and maybe community service. I know that's pussy shit compared to serving time, but nonetheless it was a big wake up call about what I was doing and how much trouble I could have gotten in. I wish you luck too and hope it turns out the best it can.
This. I remember in high school I quit smoking for a couple of months after smoking everyday for about 3 years, people actually asked me if I was doing cocaine or some shit like that. Just like people get used to you being stoned all the time, you get used to being stoned all the time, and when your not it actually feels like your high on some other drug for the first couple of days haha
I recently decided to quit smoking weed for a few months at least now after a week I slightly want to smoke again lol, but yea I'm not going to...I'm glad I like weed and not heroin, not sure I'd be able to go cold turkey and keep off it.
