Smoke discretely in New York City?

    I was wondering anyone knew where it was possible to smoke in the city during the day.
    I was thinking the park may work, but it is rather open.
    If I just sat in a field though and my friend smoked a cigarette, would anyone bother us?
    Does anyone have any ideas as to where are safe places to smoke during the day in Manhattan?

    How hard is it to pop a squat in a chill place? I'm from a large town/small city and there are several chill locations where the cops never are and no one will see you blaze a quick one.

    Look around, find a cool spot and just chill.

    Where in NYC are you? Obviously you don't want to travel some great distance just to blaze. If you're near central park, that will be a perfect place. But really, any uncrowded stretch of sidewalk would be fine too. If you're just visiting for the day I'd go for the park, if you're there to stay, go for convenience.

    What borough u in? Dude, spots in NYC are very limited, not gonna lie. Easiest is obviously at home, but im guessing u cant smoke there. If you know someone who lives in a building, try to get access to the roof. That is probably ur best bet.

    Parks are shady cuz people swarm parks, but it depends what time of day and which park. Try to find a nice spot.

    Or just do what I do. Walk around the block or 2 blocks away. People in NY dont even look at each other, so just play it off as a cig.

    Get a dugout and a 1 hitter. No one looks twice. A friend and I were smoking this way in front of a busy hotel/casino with people, taxis and valets everywhere (sec. cameras too). We just stepped to the side, lit it up quick and moved on. No one even noticed us at all.

    The only people who really will notice are stoners and cops. And cops are pretty easy to spot
