  3. nice plants ;). Well I am not familar with the strain but maybe the curing with an orange trick will work to bring out the "danky orange" smell lol. Me, personally, wouldn't be too caught up on the smell as to the smoke. :D

  7. When your drying them they will smell like hay, no skunky smell. After it is dry enough so that the stem snaps when bent, you put them in mason jars to cure for atleast 2-4 weeks. Open up the jars once a day for however long you plan to cure, the longer it cures the more dank it smells.

  8. This...

Don't be discouraged by the way it goes from smelling like fesh citrus, to grass clippings. We have alllll been there lol. Give it the time to cure well (The method you outlined in op sounds good) And the dankness will come.

Making sure its properly dry before putting it in the jar is important, otherwise if its still moist (Stems bend instead of breaking clean) it will take FOREVER to cure.

  9. If you get the hay smell, you've dried too fast and sorry to say but you've passed your window of max 'dankability'... and there's absolutely no going back.

HongKong. First, what kind of climate do you live in? Humid, arid, hot, cool? Drying and curing methods should be catered to your specific environment. For me (my opinion based on my experience) the key to keeping your harvested weed as dank as can be, is 1.) not over drying 2.) drying as slow as possible 3.) try to retain as much moisture without the threat of mold developing. 4.) Curing as large of an amount together as possible without the threat of mold developing.

There's a fine line in all that so most would suggest it better to walk on the safe side.
