smells like grass clippings?

    i recently harvested my plants (sig for info)

    i dried them for 3 days and ive been curing them ever since. when i open the jars and take a big wiff (sp?) it smells like i cut the yard and stuck the grass in there. is this normal or will the smell change or whats going on here

    The grassy smell is usualy from chlorophil, which might mean too much nitrogen- needed more flushing. Curing will take some of that away. Next time, make sure those plants are yellowing before you take them down.

    i was wondering the same thing-like maybe i didn't trim the bud enough?

    If you posted pics 2doorcut it would help more. But no it really should not smell like grass. Grass does not smell good but marijuana does. i seen that bud you grew and it looked pretty good.But maybe you started curing too soon, maybe before the stems were good and dry, But the weed I grow usually smells like strong, fruity and skunky after 1 week curing and is plenty smokable then, but I grow sativa skunk which does not need much curing. If you are curing indica this can take longer which you prolly allready know. And make sure you let fresh air in the Jar or whatever everyday. Peace

    From what i saw, his plants were sort of yellowing at the end. could just be taking a lil longer.

    have patience. every time i cure i get the same smell. it'll pass. carry on with the cure!

    im pretty sure its because you didnt let them dry long enough next time you dry you should let them hang upside down for atleast 5-6 days then worry about curing

    i let them dry for like 3 days becuase they were so tiny, but when i touched them they were nice and crisp like it says on overgrow growfaq

    They're dry when the sticks snap.

    The method I know is: 2-3 days in darkness+ air circ., 2-4 days in and out of brown paper bags(brings the moisture from the middle out), and then in jars for as long as you can hold out. Air them out a little to keep mold away.

    i have some bubblicious i grew from 2 or so months ago and it smells alright not like some crazy hydros i've had before but cut that lil crystally nug open and mmmmmmm smells like dank and taste like dank and 2 hits and you are wasted!!!
