  1. A month into grow, getting ready for flowering. It has a faint tomato plant smell when rubbed. Does this mean flowering will also be odorless?

  2. no... usually they do start smelling during flowering... what strain is it?

  3. Black Label Ole 47. Indica(dominant)/Sativa mix. A unique strain.

  4. No...

  5. Get ready for some full on stink in a few weeks. Make sure your prepared, smell is the #1 reason for grow busts.

  6. Alright, 2 weeks into flowering now. The cola is forming and pistils are out. However still no smell. When I rub the leaves it only has the tomato plant smell. Am I in the clear?

  7. youre fine, at 2 weeks the buds are usually pretty insignificant, they really start stinking around 3-4. But there should be a faint marijuana smell around your plants. Plants smell like marijuana even when vegging.

  8. When your rubbing it your most likely just getting the plant matter smell. Go rub a tree leaf and the same thing happens or rub some grass off the ground. All plants do that.

When it generates smell you will know it. Its pungent, distinct and soon will be overwhelming...Like you can smell it outside the door in some cases or across the house.

Make sure your ready for it...and glade plug ins don't cut it. They dont work on normal smells anyhow.

  9. Ok, the main cola is now an inch in diameter. Now my plant is starting to smell, except now it smells like sweet grass, like a fresh cinnamon bun. The weed smell is very weak but the sweet smell is pleasant. I hope it stays this way.

  10. Plant keeps on growing. It now smells like sweet pineapple.

  11. ~4 weeks into flowering now, main cola is now 2 inches long. Still no smell. Im growing in approx 1 cup of miracle gro potting soil. It's been 2 months since germination, should I fertilize since I used a very small amount of soil? Or should I transplant into a compost mix?
