  1. kk gc things are starting to stink can someone recommend anything cheap to get the smell out.
ive got a few quid but nowere neer enuff for a carbon scrubber and ive been looking at sprays but im not 100% how good a spay would mask this sort of smell
    thanks alot

  2. I have been dealing with that as well, & I too am spent out. I know this is ridiculous but, when I know someone is coming over I'll boil some eggs, or put a little bowl of vinegar right by the grow area. I know it sounds retarted, but its just until I can get a good filter system. Besides, my rule as always been...call before you come over, that goes for everybody, Mom or Dad.

Open a tube of sports cream, you wont be able to smell rotten shit with that stuff open. The same goes for Vicks vapor rub.

The scented sprays dont cover it too much, you just end up smelling both, stick-ups or any of that type of stuff wont work too well, Its gotta be something more pungent.
    Garlic / onions.

  3. yeh i'd say garlic / onions would sort it out, but its a raw smell to handle with.

  4. man that sounds a bit mad lol . but i was told about this stuff called ONA gel anyone ever used it

  5. ONA works ok, but mostly it just ends up smelling like weed+ what ever ONA you get (fresh linen etc..) in the end, its just a coverup

so far i've had really good luck iwth an Odor Sok, they are less expensive than carbon filters, but a good ventilation / odor handling plan should have been the first thing you spent money on when you set up your grow op.

  6. Words to live by. Unfortunately, bagseed fucks that plan up 5 out of 7 times (I don't reveal my sources... you'll have to trust those figures are correct) because you can start it without technically having spent a dime, then you got 3 months before harvest, no money, and a stink to deal with. That shit better be :smoking::smoking:GawdWeed:smoking::smoking:!

    Enuff

  7. Charcoal!!!!! Hang Some Charcoal Around The Plant>> No Smell

  8. hmm, i wonder what a box of baking soda would do? its definatly an odor absorbant, but I dont know what kind of a difference it would make.

  9. i was thinking of like 5 boxes of baking soda and a bottle of pine floor cleaner open in the grow room.

pine floor cleaner is like the strongest shit ever if not diluted.

  10. get something called "ONA block"

    its cheap and very effective

    google it

  11. Baking Soda Does Not Work.....Baking Soda Is Only Good 4 A Damp But Cool Environment....Like The Refridgerator

  12. a good alternate is an air stone and a 5gal bucket with a cap of pine sol and 4 gallons of water (scale down as needed)

  13. I'm very interested in the Odor-Sok. It seems to be like a Carbon Scrubber Lite. A few questions, though:

Do you place it on your exaust fan or a recirculating fan?

    Where did you buy/how much?

Do you have any pics of one in action (attached to the fan)?

I looked at their website, but it's not well done.

  14. Then of course there is the ultimate;

    A sticky diaper lol.

  15. If you have a fire place or a wood stove, or know someone who does you have an almost unlimited supply of charcoal. Get a 5 gal bucket with a lid, drill it full of holes (smaller than your charcoal) with some kind of fan drawing air out of the bucket. You have a very efective carbon scruber for free if you have a bucket and a fan. By the way i have used a 1 gallon pail and a computer fan with great results on smaller spaces

  16. This is what you use? And it works? How many plants are you covering for?The ash I thought was carbon, not charcoal. I realize they are made of the same thing, but there is no rigidity in ash, therefore I didn't think it was capable of "scrubbing" the air. Do you have a pic of it in action?

  17. thanks for everyones input , i think im going to go for Odor Sok , does anyone know were to buy it cuz ive been looking but i cant seem to find it anywhere

  18. shits always "in action" with you:bolt::laughing:

  19. get air filters and put them around your grow area and right outside the door of your grow area
i got one and have it in an outlet next to my door and since when my college inspects rooms, they take the dogs into the hallway and just go up and down so the dogs dont smell it
