hi Does anyone know of a Strain thats usually small in height? am growing pine trees here lol mine are sour Diesel they really tall 4-5ft i need some new seeds but want smaller plants this time.
No, WW is a sativa dom strain, any thing sativa Dom is going to be pretty big, sativa's stretch fairly more then indica's. Auto's stay pretty short, usually well under 3ft I believe. And indica's stay around 3ft matured but can be bigger. It really can come down to how long veg and when you flower. If you flower an indica 12", you would probably end up close to 34" towards end of flower.
ive been growing sour diesel on 12/12 from seed but my plants are tall they get too close to the light almost touching the 400w bulb i deffo need shorter ones.
Check my grow log my friend. I am growing with height restraints in a pc case and i decided to go with blue mystic. Cross between blueberry and northern lights. It is only supposed to get to like 18 inches i think and have a neutral smell. But honestly if your doing a photo plant the most important thing is good lst. You can grow just about any strain with proper lst of course some are more suitable than other. Also you really cant go wrong with standard northern lights strain thats always a solid grow from what ive seen.
Purple Jems by joint doctor are really really short. They are autos and a cross of masor and lowryders. I have never had one grow over 24" indoor or outdoor.
2 or 3 feet tall would be perfect but 4 and 5 they get too close to the light gotta another problem now though i've gotta move out no where to go i already have plants dunno how to move them. thanks al check those seeds out.
You can keep any genetics short if you train them. ScrOG allows you to maximize your footprint while controlling height at the same time
Red dwarf auto flower, very small but was a good smoke Sent from my iPhone using GC Forum. http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/1031685-first-grow-auto-flower-red-dwarf.html
There are alot of awesome ScrOG journals on here. check 'em out, a visual explanation is much better than a written one.
there are lots of methods to keep your plants shortened. light distance, temp control, training, etc. there are also lots of threads on this forum regarding these factors. there is a very useful search feature you can use here
this is correct. I also experimented with ethylene gas on plants (unfortunately) and though i do not recommend it is a manner of stopping apical dominance. a natural hormone that is permanently retarted with exposure to ethylene gas ill add that northern lite is a great strean for pain relief while having a short yet chronically stacked form, and i do repeat doubly this is chronic we're talking about. it has a really funny smell though, not too stinky. some where between urine and odd spices.
