can anyone recomend a small space heater to use in my room. something with a thermostat and something safe. Do you know what they do to the electric bill ? any help is appreciated , Thanks
You can pick up a small portable electric fan heater w/ thermostat at an of the box stores. They are reasonably inexpensive although I am sure they have recently jacked up the prices with winter approaching. They are a pretty dry heat, so you will want to take the effect on your humidity into consideration. They are pretty safe as most good brands come with an overheat sensor and automatic shutoff.
