I am going to start a small scrog grow and i have 16 inch tall by 16 inch wide by 31 inch long box. Most likely use a 4 inch tall pot about 3-5 gallon and have 2 plants growing in it. How should i set up the box and what lighting do you recommend? I was thinking 2 cfls on the top left side of the box and 2 cfls on the top right side. Or use 2 t5 floursent tubes on the top of the box. What should i do from here? I already made my box so no light gets out but im not sure where to put vans or ventilation holes or any of that. I also already made an 4 inch carbon scrubber.
Dude, seriously reconsider your box size. I'm using a 3x5x9 and I sill don't have enough room. You can grow with CFL but it won't produce the quality of bud your looking for. I really think your box is to small for the type of growing you want to do. Do more research.
Yea but this is the only size box that i can use right now. This chest has been in my room forver and my parents would never notice. If i put in a new cabinet or something they will probably figure it out. If i stood it up on its side and made it 31 inchs tall by 16 inches wide and 16 inches long would that work better? Probably then just grow one big plant?
You really think you get get away with a full grow, seed to harvest, in your room and your parents not noticing? Goodluck, man
yeah i think i could but i have my medical card to. Doesn't really matter if i got caught by them, they know i smoke. What do you think the best thing to do would be? Do a couple plant small scrog grow or grow one plant with the box standing up? Im going to have 2 intake holes with pvc elbows then an exhaust with a fan going through my carbon scrubber. Also going to have a small circulating fan in front of the 2 intake holes and probably have 4 cfls inside the box.
Probably good to grow at least two to start with, if you just grow one it's just as likely to be male as female, which is a bit risky if you're going to all that effort. Look into LST'ing, with a small space.
