  1. This will be the journal for my second time growing. Going to shoot for 3 plants. Thought about doing 2 photos and an auto just to see what happens..

Grow space : 3.5’x3.5’x5.5’ (this is temporary, plan to have a 5x5x7 tent well before I flip).
    Lights: SPIDERFARMER SF1000 x2
    Floro series nute line
Fox farm ocean Forrest with added perlite
    3 gall pots

  2. yes sir, pulling up a chair :)

  3. I've got eyes on your prize. I'm running a single unit in a slightly smaller space (3 x 1.5 x 5) over two girls about six weeks into flower.

  4. Well I got the tent today and got everything set up, although I’m gonna order a 5x5x80 this Friday and prolly 2 more spiderco sf1000’s to total 4, I think that’ll rock out a 5x5 with 4 girls. This tent was just too small for my liking, especially with the humidifier

  5. Well its a start ! I think you can grow four plants pretty quick, just don't over veg them for 8 weeks or anything crazy.
just train them early on and try to maintain a 2'x2' space for each of them. I do it in my 2x4s all the time.
You gotta Love a new show :D

  6. Nice, I'm using the SF-1000 as well and am loving it. If I ever grow more than one plant, I'll probably add another SF-1000. This way, I can raise, lower or even tilt the lights depending on my plants heights.

  7. Ok so I have 8 seeds germinating right now, 6 I did the paper towel method, and 2 I popped in to some Lightwarrior seed starter soil with ceran wrap over em. If I can get 4 to pop I’ll be happy. I didn’t have any wY to adjust the ph (it’s in the mail) and I just didn’t wanna wait, impulsive and silly I know but that’s just how I roll haha if they don’t pop I’ll re germ on weds when my ph down arrives

  9. All the seeds popped, they are all in Light warrior seed starting soil, I have them under 2 sf1000 lights any input on how far above them the lights should be and at what level should I have the dimmer? Full blast, 3/4,1/2 etc?

  10. You should have them under ~20,000 lux. If you don't own a lux meter, you could try a phone app lux meter; I've heard some are quite good. Over the next week or so, raise the lux to 22,000.

  11. So today all the seedlings are looking great. Leaves are getting bigger by the hour it seems. Refresh my memory on when I need to top or fim them?

I run 4 SP 1000, early veg at 18” 80% during 2 weeks of early veg I lower to 14” and up to 100% intensity. 14” from then on to finish.
4.5’ x 4’ SCROG trellis, 2 plant sights not 4 in my grow.

good luck, I love the SP1000. The overlap of coverage with the height at 14” is my sweet spot.

  17. Your seedlings look very healthy, and since you are using Fox Farm Ocean Forest for soil, I would recommend holding off feeding them anything. You can still feed them, but I wouldn't use much.
